LED downlight — ROUND R023, IP54, CCT 2900-4000-5300K,dimmable 9W, WHITE, high CRI98

LED LIGHT R023W CCT (matt white, glossy white) is dimmable and moisture-proof (IP54), also from behind. As LED circuit we use high quality LED circuits with a colour rendering index (CRI) of 98 (full spectrum!) and the colours are reproduced as they should be. In the light, the light comes beautifully from a single point. This light is a popular 'hotel' model, where the light comes from a beautifully recessed recess, so from the side the light is glare-free.

The ROUND R023W is suitable for general lighting from private homes to public spaces. In terms of luminous intensity, ROUNDГ„ R023W CCT is equivalent to at least 50W halogen, +600 lumens. The light has an extra lens for light equalisation, which when removed, gives 750 lumens.

The light is also available in black and anodised aluminium, and in a higher wattage of 15W.

The light has an adjustable light temperature of 2900-4000-5300K with a power supply switch, so you can choose the colour to suit your interior when installing. The light switch can also be used at a later date, for example if the purpose of the room or the colours change so that you want to change the colour temperature of the light. In this case, the light is pulled out of the mounting hole and the driver allows you to select a new light colour.

If you want to adjust the colour temperature of the light at any time in everyday use, you need a group driver and controllers suitable for CCT lights (e.g. max. 8 for a group of lights):

• VaLO RF: VaLO RF 100W driver and VaLO RF CCT wireless push-button
• VaLO Zigbee: VaLO Zigbee 100W driver and VaLO Zigbee CCT wireless button.
• Wireless control: 100W 24V driver and embeddable pushbutton in the box.

Please note that for group control, the Valasim's own driver will be omitted, and replaced by a larger group driver. As the power requirement decreases, the driver will be increased by 25%, so for example 6x9W CCT spots will need a minimum of 68W driver. The driver can always be much larger.

The light is IP54, i.e. the light is waterproof, even from behind. The driver of the light is not splash-proof, but can withstand outdoor eaves.

LED ROUND R023W is a flush mount light in cast aluminium with the LED circuitry mounted directly on the body. The solution achieves maximum thermal conductivity and safe operating temperature (below 50 degrees Celsius). The low operating temperature and the high quality LED circuit guarantees a long lifetime of 50,000h and we grant a 7 year warranty on our manufactured light!

The LED module of the light is removable and replaceable.

Installation

The light has a solid body and is very low, only 50mm high! The light will therefore fit into a typical roof structure with only 48x48mm of insulation and 13mm plasterboard under the vapour barrier. We recommend installing a piece of board or plasterboard above the light to prevent the insulation from sagging. Mounting hole diameter 76-80mm.

Each light is supplied with its own chained power supply which fits through the mounting hole into the mounting space. By moving the power supply away from the light, we prevent the power supply from heating up the light, and we can keep the size of the light small. The power supplies are long-lived and this also allows us to avoid the typical problem with halogen lamps, where one power supply is subjected to a heavy load and gets hot, and breaks the light. There is a quick connector between the light and the power supply for easy installation. The light colour change is done by the switch on the power supply, CW 5300K, DW 4000K, WW 2700K. By default, the light's light colour is DW 4000K. The power must be switched off before changing the colour, otherwise the light will break.

Dimming

The light can be dimmed with a wireless dimmer or TRIAC dimmers, from the PRIMARY side and they also work with home automation such as KNX. Suitable dimmers can also be ordered from us, "Led dimmers".

• VaLO Triac dimmer with remote control option
