LED plant lights with high CRI

Led plant lights with blue and red wave lenghts are a right choise for growing as these make the plant think they are growing outside. These kinds of lights in a home invironment tend to be uncomfortable, which is why we recommend to use our high CRI, full spectre lamps. Our high CRI lights have good values of red and blue (as well as all the other measured colours) so they work as plant lighting but are also comfortable for home use. High CRI lights shows the true colours of your interior and are good for your eyes and your plants. We recommend you to choose lights with coulour rendering index of 95. Low quality leds (CRI <80) may have a very low rendering for red colour (R9).

LED plant light efficiency

Using LED's in plant lighting has grown in the recent years, mainly because the do not emit as much heat as well as their low energy consumption compared to fluoroscent and incandecent lights. LED tubes are almost four times more efficient compared to fluoroscent tubes.
