Black Round HIDDEN IP44 lamp frame for GU10/MR16 Base
LEDStore Black round HIDDEN FRAME is created for projects where the lamp holder must be invisible. This lamp holder can be adjusted for different material thicknesses.
Stylish invisible round frame
This Black frame is stylished to perfection. Matte finish and 20mm recessed light. Because the light source is recessed, there is less glare. Cutout is 72mm + 3mm for two skrews.
You can easily change your bulb by pulling the middle part out.
The frame is 72x40mm, with 25x55mm wings for mounting on two sides.
Installation
This lamp holder comes with two wings on round frame sides. These wings are adjustable from 0,1 - 20mm materials. Most common installation is with plasterboards.
Install method for plasterboard:
- Pull wires where you want to install lamp
- Mark wire position
- Add plasterboard
- cut out 72mm hole
- adjust wings to desided plaster thickness
- install lamp holder with two small skrews
- Add plaster, sand, add plaster and sand more..
- paint
- pull out wire thru the hole and install the lamp to the base.
- install lamp to middle part of lamp holder
- push middle part to ceiling.
IP44 Protection
This frame has real glass, to prevent water leakage to ceiling and make your lamp IP44 protected.
Led bulb options
GU10 LED bulb
GU10 base is optional for GU10 bulbs. We have multiple GU10 models to choose from.
Height requirement with GU10 is +110mm including frame, GU10 bulb and base.
MR16/GU5.3 LED bulb
MR16/GU5.3 base is optional for MR16 bulbs. We have multiple MR16 models to choose from.
Height requirement with MR16 is +89mm including frame, MR16 bulb and base.
Safety note for Installation
With this product, you need to take into account all fire regulations that are made for installing halogens as it it possible in some point to accidentially place a halogen bulb in this frame. Halogen might reach the temperature of over 200 celsius. This can not happen if you use sold frame led lights.
