VaLO Zigbee 3.0 - Door / Windows sensor

VaLO Zigbee 3.0 series door or window sensor. With the sensor you can monitor e.g. the opening of a door and in the Zigbee app you can determine what happens next. This sensor is most often used as a light switch for a storage room, for example, and the light stays on until you close the door.. or a breakfast cabinet.

In addition to the sensor, you will need a Zigbee 3.0 compatible system (Silvercrest (LIDL) , Conbee USB, etc) wireless button or Zigbee box (hub) and an Android/iOS device to control your LED lights. NOTE! NOT Philips HUE compatible!

Note for Zigbee: All devices are first paired to the HUB and then the functions are defined.

One part of the sensor is glued/screwed to the door and the other part to the door. The sensor is activated when they are more than 3cm apart.

The package includes a 2-sided adhesive tape and batteries. The detector uses 2 CR2450 batteries.

Is VaLO Zigbee compatible with other Zigbee devices?

Yes! VaLO Zigbee buttons and HUBs that support ZIgbee 3.0 (e.g. LIDL home, Conbee 2 USB). i.e. NOT compatible with Philips HUE.
