Product Information

230V COB Dotless 14,4W/m light strip is very uniform and efficient (1500 lumens per meter) and has 680 LED circuits per meter. This makes the light uniform and dotless. The 230V led strip light has IP65 protection on top to prevent moisture damage, as well as making it safe. If the protection is broken, it should be replaced or carefully re-protected.

This led strip light can be cut off every 10 cm, making it easy to make luminaires or install in a location where a transformer cannot be put in. We can prefabricate luminaires for customers for a variety of uses, such as:

Installation

230V dots-free COB led strip light comes in a roll and can be cut to definite lengths up to 100mm apart. The strip light comes with a 150 cm connecting cable with a circuit breaker ready (optional). Our 230V led strip light is easy to attach with the included 3M high grip tape. Cutting points can be found on the surface of the strip light. The cutting points have copper dots, so that from these points you can solder a wire to the strip light, which is connected to the mains power supply. The connections must be particularly well protected to avoid electric shock.

The LED strip should always be attached to an aluminium strip, so that excess heat is conducted away from the LED circuit while providing mechanical protection. This will significantly extend the life of the LED strip light. Aluminium profiles can be ordered from our online shop, which offers a wide range of aluminium profiles.

Smoothing

To dim your Led strip light, you can use either a traditional rotary wired dimmer or our VaLO RF/zigbee series wireless dimmer. The strips can also be controlled by DALI systems. Wireless dimming is perfect for applications where there is no wall switch for the luminaire, but the luminaire is powered by a constant current. The 230V led strip therefore dims nicely with TRIAC dimmers.

Safety and legislation

When working with 230V LED strips, safety is always a primary concern. 230V LED strips operate directly on mains power, so correct and safe installation is absolutely essential. These products are for fixed installation only and should only be installed by a qualified electrician. This ensures that the installation complies with current safety standards and the requirements of electrical installation legislation.

Electrical installation work in Finland is regulated by the Electrical Safety Act (1135/2016) and the regulations issued under it, including the Electrical Work Safety Standard SFS 6002.
