The product range of the lamp shop LedStore began to take shape from the needs of a home builder more than ten years ago, when there were not enough good LED lamps on the market. The energy efficiency of LEDs was the attraction that led LedStore to invest specifically in LED technology for lighting. After a long search for a contract manufacturer in China, the technical features of the products were developed in close cooperation with small batches. Having our own reliable contract manufacturers is a key success factor and enables LedStore to offer products with exactly the right features. In addition, it is possible to commission LED luminaires with the technical characteristics required by the customer.
When it comes to Finnish design expertise, the external envelope design and product design come most often to mind. LedStore design is mainly about defining and managing the technical components of the product, and focusing on the parts of the product that are hidden after installation. For example, a better design of the power strips is one of the most important details to facilitate the installation process.
LEDs are efficient light sources, so dimmability is one of the most important features of an LED luminaire. All LedStore's Designed in Finland luminaires are dimmable.
In our experience, dimming is one of the cornerstones of quality light in LED luminaires. High quality output is one of the factors that add luxury to everyday life, as the closer you are to a CRI of 100, the more natural the shadows of the surrounding space are reproduced. Finnish lighting recommendations have taken a stand on the minimum luminous efficacy index values for different spaces, but for comfort we recommend choosing higher luminous efficacy index values than these recommendations.
All LedStore's Designed in Finland luminaires are available with both a 3000 Kelvin (K), or lamp-white, spare lamp mode and a 4000 Kelvin (K) spare lamp mode. In addition, we offer a wide range of luminaires with spare lamp mode, which can be set by remote control or wall button. In simplified terms, spare lamp mode refers to the wavelength of white light produced by the luminaire, which is perceived as a more yellowish light at shorter wavelengths and a brighter, cleaner white light at longer wavelengths.
In LEDs, diode quality is essential to ensure that the lamp produces uniform light, turns on quickly, and maintains a consistent light quality throughout the life of the lamp. We use high quality CREE diodes.
In LedStore's Designed in Finland luminaires, we have paid attention to installability. In our flush-mounted panel and ceiling luminaires, the shallow mounting depth is particularly important. In Led spotlights, especially the chainable power strips / quick connectors, and in ModLed the interchangeability of the LED module / frame (white, black, gold) add to the versatility of the luminaire. Most of our Designed in Finland luminaires are available for both dry and humid environments.
