Dimming LedStore LED luminaires

LED dimming is possible with almost all of our products. Dimmable LED lighting has been part of our range since the very beginning, starting in 2010. Our selection includes dimmable LED panels, LED strips, LED spotlights, and LED bulbs, all available with a wide variety of dimming options. We also offer several different LED dimmer models, which we will outline here.

Some of our wall luminaires—such as the Blade, Line, and In-Wall models—are not dimmable. However, approximately 95% of our product range is dimmable. From a technical perspective, dimming is usually implemented either on the primary side or the secondary side:

Our range also includes dimmable constant-current power supplies (mA-controlled) as well as DALI drivers for DALI-controlled systems. Drivers for push-dim control are also available.

For dimmers, LedStore’s own selection includes our VaLO series wireless dimmers and receivers. Wireless dimming technologies include RF LED dimmers as well as RF Zigbee LED dimmers suitable for smart lighting control systems.

TRIAC LED dimming for LED spotlights and panels – Primary side (230 V) with a traditional wired wall dimmer

Dimming of LED spotlights (including spotlight sets) and panels is carried out on the primary side using standard wall dimmers that are readily available from hardware stores (230 V rotary LED dimmers). When planning dimming, it is important to check which luminaire models are compatible with dimming (see the table below).

LED strips can also be dimmed on the primary side, provided that a dimmable power supply is used. LedStore LED strips are always dimmable by design. For example, a TRIAC driver is suitable for use with many rotary LED dimmers.

We also offer power supplies compatible with 1–10 V dimming for LED strips, and these are available on request for spotlights and panels as well.
