How does Zigbee pairing work?

To establish a Zigbee pair connection, a device initiates a connection request to another device. The other device then responds with an accept request, allowing the devices to connect. There are several different protocols for pairing, including Touchlink, Bridging and Find and Bind. Pairing is first initiated on the device that is to be connected to the network or button.
