Superior technology
Lamppukauppa Led Store Oy manufactures and imports its own brand products (LedStore.fi). We have our own product development, and we guarantee spare parts long into the future. We carefully select our suppliers and focus on quality, durability and serviceability.
The basis of LedStore's range is formed by LED luminaires that we have designed and manufactured ourselves, partially or completely, in the factories of our choice. These products are marked with our own Designed in Finland label.
For the other products that we take under the LedStore.fi brand, we select only products with the highest quality components, i.e. the technical characteristics of the products have not been compromised. We are constantly striving to improve the features of our LED luminaires, and we are able to maintain long warranty periods.
LedStore's CCT Tunnel family of spots has won the International Architecture & Design Awards 2023, the A´Design Award & Competition 2023 Bronze in the Lighting Design category and the BIGSEE 2023 award in the Product Design category.

Where did it all start?
Entrepreneur Janne Halttu tells us: The business started with a love of building
I have built and still build detached houses as a hobby, so in 2007, when I was planning a house, I had an idea. I could not stand the heat generated by halogens, the protective caps to be installed and the lowering they required. For the house under construction it was decided to make LED lighting as a solution to this problem. But where to get the products? As there were no dimmable, thin (less than 60 mm) and efficient LED luminaires on the market, they had to be developed in-house.So the development work started from a need for myself and since then I have been designing and producing products for Finnish builders. All the development work is done from a builder's and layman's point of view. Let the engineers figure out how to implement the idea technically. A luminaire that met my quality and functionality requirements came to my hype after rotating 8 different factory designs. The spotlights in question have been in use since that day with no failures.
LedStore steps
Installing the Led luminaires was easy (no fire safety requirements) and since there were no similar products available in Finland and Europe, I thought other builders would want them too. So let's set up an online shop! The online shop was launched in 2010 under the name of another company and incorporated as a separate company in 2011.
- in 2010 the shop started in a small 10m2 booth on Tikkurilantie.
- in 2012 I moved to a 35m2 space on the roof of Prisma in Unikkotie.
- in 2013 we moved to 70m2 on Niittytiete and took over the main warehouse.
- 2015 Liisa joined the team and we got the lighting design service up and running. In the spring we completed our own premises on Puutarhatie 90m2, where we built a proper showroom and pick-up warehouse.
- in early 2018, we bought and renovated the existing, larger premises on Mesikukantie. The same 400m2 roof can accommodate a shop and a full warehouse. By then, our team had grown to four people.
- in early 2021, we got the LedPaja and installation service up and running when Marko arrived.
- 2024 We moved to a new e-commerce platform
- 2025 LedStore celebrates its 15th birthday!
I worked alone for the first 3 years and in 2013 I took on my first assistant, who was then replaced by Liisa in early 2015. With Liisa, we got the zoom and lighting design rolling more extensively.
The lighting design service was born out of customer demand. From the beginning, I noticed that in addition to lighting, customers needed help with the design. With lighting design, we get happier customers and the luminaires serve their purpose properly.
We have also increased our e-commerce and communication skills. Now in 2025, we have a team of eight people at LedStore to help you with your ordering, design and product needs.

Janne's theses
1. Life needs to be more luxurious
Dimming, energy efficiency and durability in our luminaires are important features for us. Most of our collection is fully dimmable and our durability is reflected in our 5-7 year guarantee (depending on the luminaire). Dimming creates a much-needed ambience and increases comfort of use. A large number of our products are also suitable for damp locations thanks to their IP44 rating. They create a modern, dimmable and romantic lighting for your bathroom.
2. Nature should be green
Nature is the cradle of wellbeing and we want it to remain its own wonderful self. There's nothing like the feeling of a sunset over a green forest and clear water. LedStore preserves nature's values by selling only energy-efficient and environmentally friendly lighting. We only sell LED lighting, as it has a lower life cycle impact on nature than other lighting technologies. We directly reuse over 90% of our packaging material without any factory processing and the aluminium we use is 90% recycled!
3. No need to compromise on anything
We never compromise. We don't compromise on quality, safety, finish or price. Our luminaires are carefully tested and cannot be found on the TUKES list of dangerous LED luminaires on the TUKES website with the search term "Led". In other words, there is no risk of electric shock or fire. Our guarantee is comprehensive: from a minimum of three years up to seven years. Our prices are affordable and you don't have to compromise (and you can't, unless you're prepared to start every coffee table conversation by praising LedStore and posting great photos of your interior lit by LedStore luminaires).
4. Luxury does not always cost a fortune
Luxury is not only for millionaires. There is luxury that doesn't cost a fortune and pays for itself. It sounds unbelievable, but that's what our clients have told us. In fact, the electricity company was the bill payer. Lighting is no small part of your home's electricity consumption, so the drop is really felt in the bill. The average payback period (compared to halogen) is less than four years, based on four hours of daily use.
Modern temperature control according to time of day and infinitely variable dimming means that the light reacts to and supports the natural rhythm of the human body.
