Tuya Smart Lock Basic IP65 is designed to be easy to use and quick to install. Follow the simple instructions to install the lock on your door. The package comes with a lock frame, which when installed on an old door requires some door work.
So you will need a drill to make a few holes, and a wooden chisel to fit the lock frame.
When ordering a new door, you should deliver the lockcase directly to the door factory.
Opening methods
There are several ways to open a lock. NFC key card, PIN code or fingerprint.
For fingerprinting to work reliably, the lock must be installed in a place where there is a canopy above the door. Dripping water or ice on the fingerprint sensor will prevent correct identification.
Also works without an application
You can also install and operate the lock completely locally without any application. You can insert fingerprints, key cards and PIN codes directly into the lock locally.
Key
The lock comes with its own key for emergencies, so unfortunately you cannot use your own lock key.

Curtain control
Automated curtain and roller blind motors increase comfort and privacy, operating quietly. All run on USB rechargeable battery power, but can be fitted with continuous USB charging if required. The rechargeable battery lasts 6-12 months depending on the amount of use.
- Motorised curtain track: ready-made curtain track, mountable from 1.2 to 5.2m long, includes a motor at one end of the track.
- Roller curtain motor: Easily retrofitted by pushing the motor into one end of a 25mm or 38mm roller curtain tube.
- Curtain robot: mounted on curtain clips and cranked against the curtain rail. The motor rolls along the track, moving the curtain along with it.
Sensors and controls

The F7 and MAX8 Smart Display also include 2x25W amplifiers for wired speakers. Choice of two different speakers:
