UPPOAVA -PANELI 300x1200, 36W is a dimmable, moisture resistant (IP54) LED luminaire for demanding tastes. The colour temperature of the light (K) can be adjusted from warm-neutral-cold by means of a switch connected to the transformer of the luminaire. The colour rendering index (CRI) is a staggering minimum of 95 in every shade! If you omit the transformer, you can also choose a transformer and controller suitable for other control systems, either for a single luminaire or for a group of several luminaires. This way you can also get the colour temperature control to work with a floating controller.

UPPOAVA panel 300x1200, 36W, with variable light colour temperature, is a multifunctional luminaire for indoor and outdoor use. Suitable for bathrooms, terraces and kitchens. The panel blends perfectly into the ceiling and creates the effect of a skylight in the room lighting. The colour temperature of the luminaire can be selected via a switch on the transformer, and it is dimmable and moisture-proof. It also comes with a 5-year guarantee.
About Led technology
It doesn't matter what kind of light a luminaire produces. For the home, it is recommended to choose a light with a colour rendering index of at least 90 CRI or higher, so that the lighting looks natural to the eye. UPPOAVA -led panels have a CRI above 95 at all colour temperatures. It is possible to change the hue (i.e. Kelvin) of the light using the three-position switch on the transformer at the time of installation. CW-cold white, DW-neutral white and WW-warm white. Neutral white light (around 4000 K) is pure and natural in colour, making it ideal for use as a light window or skylight. kelvins higher than 4 000 K are similar to daylight, while lower K take you in a softer and warmer direction. For example, when installed in a smart control, the luminaire can be made to follow even the desired daylight rhythm automatically.
The UPPOAVA -led panel uses an edge diffuser to give a soft light with no speckle and a matte acrylic to further diffuse the light into a pleasantly even light. The UPPOAVA panel 300x1200, 36W led is equivalent in luminous intensity to 250W halogen, which means 3,000 lumens of luminous efficiency. The frame is smooth, and the springs 4 pcs are pre-mounted.

Installation
The luminaire is recessed in the ceiling or surface-mounted. When recessed, the mounting hole should be 285x1185mm. The luminaire itself is 295x1195x22mm, plus a separate power supply which can be set to any of three colour temperatures, warm-neutral-cool white. The power supply is dimmable with wired led dimmers such as Schneider EXXACT, ABB Jussi and Impressivo, Elko, Ensto Jung, as well as our range of Led triac dimmer and VaLO Zigbee receiver dimmer. The springs are on the two sides of the panel and are pre-mounted on the panel. If you also buy a surface-mount frame, the transformer with its temperature controls will fit inside the surface-mount frame. The power supply wiring can be extended, with a three-pole cable, or, when connecting multiple panels, use CCT wires and splitters.
The luminaire will fit into a typical ceiling structure with only 48x48 mm reinforcement and 13 mm plasterboard under the vapour barrier. If the vapour barrier is installed loosely, we recommend installing a board or plasterboard above the luminaire to prevent the insulation from sagging. The LED will not reach high temperatures, so no fire protection is required. However, it is not recommended to mount the Led luminaire on any material and an air space of e.g. 1-2 cm can be left.
The luminaire is available with a white surface mounting frame 50 mm high. The transformer fits inside the frame.
NOTE! Requires a separate CCT colour temperature control receiver and a light controller to allow a smooth change of the colour temperature of the white light.

Dimming
If a sliding colour temperature control is desired, then the product selection will be "non-transformer". Instead of this luminaire-specific transformer, a transformer with the desired control system is purchased, which also has a colour temperature control feature. Valaisin upotetaan kattoon tai asennetaan pinta-kehykseen. Upotettaessa asennusaukon tulee olla 285x1185mm. Itse valaisin on 295x1195x22mm ja lisäksi erillinen virtalähde, jossa kytkin valon varisavyn vaihtamiseen. Virtalähde mahtuu pinta-asennuskehykseen sisälle.

Zigbee CCT transformers

CCT wire harnesses
With our wiring harnesses you can quickly and reliably install CCT spots and CCT panels directly on one transformer. All luminaires are installed in parallel on the same transformer.
The spots come standard with a 15cm connecting cable with a connector, so you can easily create your own set with these wires.
with 3m spacer cables you can put even 2 in a row. All connection points have IP54 tight draught proofing.
In the distribution boxes (3 and 6) it is not mandatory to install a lamp on each connector.
WHAT IS CRI, THE COLOUR RENDERING INDEX
High quality LED lights also have a high colour rendering index, or CRI. A good colour rendering index (CRI) for home use is above 90, and nowadays many market lights are unfortunately closer to 80.
CRI tells you how well an LED light displays colours as they should be. For designers and architects, as well as interior designers, it should be one of the most important considerations. Make sure the lighting is perfect so that your artwork is what it is meant to be.
Colour rendering index
The colour rendering index is expressed as a number on a scale from zero to 100, where 0 = no colour rendering and 100 = full colour rendering. The colour rendering index of LED lights is also known as Ra, which is measured on a smaller scale than CRI. This Ra value does not include red tones or skin tones, for example, so it is a 'glossed' figure for the true quality of an LED light.
RA value
The Ra value measures the reproduction of colours using eight different reference colours. CRI takes into account the wider (15) wavelength range, including reds and other warm colours.
The Ra value is calculated by cutting the wavelength range, weighting the blue and violet tones, and calculating the weighted average of R numbers 1-8.
Excluded from the Ra value are, for example, the colour rendering of bright reds, yellows and greens, and shades close to skin tone. These are described by R-values between 9 and 15. The following is a picture of a measurement result that easily confuses the consumer.

TWO INSTALLATION METHODS
Basic:
Standard, where the luminaire comes with a transformer with a 3-position switch. The switch allows you to select a light temperature of 2900K/4000/5500K at the installation stage. The luminaire is TRIAC dimmable. The Led luminaires can be installed in chains.
Customizable:
Freely selectable from 2900-5500K. Selection is done by the desired lighting control system such as ZIgbee, DALI2, Z-Wave, etc. All lights are 24VDC parallel connected. Easy to add/remove Led lights. That is, the luminaire is purchased "Without its own transformer" and the luminaires are connected in parallel to one group transformer. This way all the luminaires behind the transformer are controlled by one single group and the CCT colour temperature of the luminaires can be freely adjusted and dimmed.
ACCESSORIES FOR THE PRODUCT FAMILY
The CCT product family also includes a complete IP54, pull-protected cabling kit with a 3 metre intermediate cable, and a choice of 3-piece or 6-piece splitter.
You can also use your own 3 pole cable for installation.
WHAT IS A COLOUR TEMPERATURE ADJUSTABLE LUMINAIRE?
A CCT-led light is a luminaire that allows you to change the colour temperature of white light. The range depends on the led luminaire, but can be as low as 2500K - 6500K.
The changes in colour temperature, which are clearly visible to the eye, range from yellowish light to bluish light. A temperature-controlled LED light changes the hue of the light so that the luminaire itself always has two LED circuits in parallel; cold and warm.
When the mixing ratio of the two is changed with a control, the colour temperature of the light changes. In addition to the possibility of changing the colour temperature of the light, the luminaires are dimmable.
Different materials and colours react differently to different light spectrums. It is very important to find the right colour temperature to suit your needs.
