Mean Well 90 W 24 V constant-voltage LED power supply, IP67 enclosure rating. Suitable for LED strips and other compatible LED loads when the operating voltage and power rating match.
Control and dimming in practice
Dimming via 0/1–10 V, PWM signal, or potentiometer
Mean Well’s PWM series 3-in-1 dimming input can be controlled in three ways: via a 0/1–10 V DC control signal, a 10 V PWM signal, or a resistor/potentiometer. This makes the power supply practical even for applications where a simple potentiometer control mounted on a wall or in a control panel is desired, without the need for separate bus control.
In potentiometer mode, the selected dimming level is retained even after the power is turned off, since the physical position of the potentiometer does not change. When the power is turned back on, the transformer receives the same resistance value and returns to virtually the same light level. This is not due to a digital memory function in the transformer, but rather to the mechanically retained position of the potentiometer.
The PWM series output is a PWM-type constant-voltage output, making it particularly well-suited for LED strips. The dimming can be adjusted to very low levels, and the manufacturer’s model-specific datasheet specifies the exact DIM+/DIM− connections as well as the potentiometer/resistor ratings.

Important Installation Notes
Connect only an LED load designed for a constant 24 V DC voltage. Allow a sufficient safety margin in the power rating and verify the polarity before commissioning.
Fixed connections on the 230 V AC side must be made by a qualified electrician. Always check the product’s nameplate and the manufacturer’s installation instructions before making any connections.
