LedStore has a wide range of moisture-proof luminaires and power supplies. Moisture protection is indicated by the IP rating, which for our damp proof luminaires and transformers ranges from IP44 to IP68.
The IP (Ingress Protection) class is a standard that defines the level of protection of a luminaire against various environmental conditions. The standard also uses two numbers, the first indicating protection against dust and the second against moisture. The higher the number, the better protection the luminaire has.
See the table below for the official IEC specification:
We have several hundred moisture-protected products in our range. All products in this category have a minimum IP44 rating. With an IP44 rating, a luminaire is protected against dust and splashing water. This makes the luminaire suitable for use in damp areas and outdoors, such as bathrooms or covered terraces.
With flush-mounted panels (IP54) for bathrooms and spotlights for damp locations, protection is provided by an opal glare shield fixed firmly to the body.
If you're looking for luminaires for places that are really exposed to the elements, check out our IP66+ luminaires. IP66 and above luminaires are fully dustproof and can withstand at least a strong spray of water from any direction.
Moisture protection, e.g. in kitchen areas near the sink, can be achieved with an LED strip, where a diffuser protects the luminaire from splashing water. The Led strip is also available in IP67 class, where the strip is coated with a non-floating silicone. For Led tubes, we also offer a sealed, moisture-proof body.

All our products are safe, and at least CE and RoHS standardised. Our products come with a long warranty of 3 or 5 years.
Always use a professional for electrical installations to ensure safe use of your luminaires.
NOTE: Always check the IP rating of the product on the product card.
