The color temperature of two-wire CCT LED lights can be controlled using only two wires, CW (cold white) and WW (warm white)!
This is a great retrofit solution, i.e. retrofits can be used to create CCT controllable lighting. Colour temperature control (and depending on the product, dimming) can be made to work with a 2-wire CCT receiver, which is installed between the transformer and the 2-wire CCT luminaire. Without the receiver, a 2-wire CCT LED strip, for example, would have a halfway point between warm and cold tones, e.g. with an adjustability of 2700-6500K the strip would be 4500K.
