  • Two-wire CCT LED light strips light color temperature can be adjusted between 2700K and 6900K using only two wires! A great retrofit solution, i.e. with retrofitting you can create CCT adjustable lighting.

The color rendering index of the light strip is 93, which means that the colors are reproduced well (the best colors are reproduced with 4000K white light, because it does not have a yellowish or bluish tint). This led light strip is also dimmable and Color control can be made to work by ordering a Zigbee or Dali series (CCT) button and receiver (CCT). When used without the receiver, the light of the strip is single tune, around 4800K.

    Product information

The two-wire CCT 14.4W/m LED light strip is smooth and efficient (475 lumens per meter) and has 240 led circuits per meter. The tape is only 5mm wide, which means it fits even in tight spaces.

    Installation

The LED light strip comes in a 1m roll and can be cut to size every 20mm. The light strip has clear markings to make cutting easier. We recommend connecting the light strips by soldering. Our led light strip is easy to attach with the included 3M very strong tape. The soldering points of the light strip are at the cut marks on the underside of the light strip under the tape. There are two tapping points, cold C on one side of the light strip and warm W on the other.

We recommend that in long runs (over 10m) the supply from the transformer is branched to both ends of the led light strip so that the light does not decrease at the other end of the light strip. The LED light strip should always be attached to the aluminum strip, so that the excess heat is removed from the LED circuit. This extends the life of the led light strip. Aluminum profiles can be ordered from our online store, where several different types are available.

The two-wire CCT led light strip is connected to a two-wire CCT adjustable receiver (Zigbee or Dali) and the receiver is connected to a power source that is connected to the mains.

The power source does not need to be dimmable when dimming with a controller and receiver.

We are happy to help with questions related to installation and ordering.

    Dimming

To dim the LED light strip, you can use the same receiver as for the CCT color temperature adjustment, i.e. a receiver designed for Zigbee or Dali series two-wire strips. Wireless dimming is perfect in locations where there is no switch for the lamp on the wall, but the lamp receives a continuous current. The light strip in the receiver can be controlled with wireless switches from wherever you want. The wireless switch works with batteries that are easily replaceable. If you want, you can also attach the switch to the wall, but it does not need a separate power supply.

    Create your own lamp

Why would you use CCT led light strip only in traditional objects, when you can make a light from almost anything? Create your own wall lamp by bending the led light strip and aluminum profile into the shape you want, or by attaching the led light strip to another heat-conducting material. A mirror, picture frame, travel trunk, table or chair turns into a lamp with the help of a led light strip. Well planned is already half done.

Zigbee CCT led drivers

Zigbee CCT Products that you can use when you want stepless CCT control. Compatible wiht Philips HUE!

The light is ordered without its own driver and a group driver is selected for CCT spots or CCT panels, as well as for CCT led strip lighting.

The transformer size for spots and panels is calculated by adding up the Watts + 25%.

For the CCT led strip, a 15% margin is sufficient.

e.g. 4x 9W CCT spot = 45W, so the closest is 50W

RF CCT LED drivers

RF CCT Products that you can use when you want stepless CCT control. Led light is ordered without its own led driver. Then a group led driver (one to control all) is selected for CCT spotlights or CCT panels, as well as for CCT led strip lighting.

The transformer/led driver size for spots and panels is calculated by adding up the Watts + 25%.

For the CCT led strip, a 15% margin is sufficient.

DALI2 (DT8) CCT Led drivers

DALI2 CCT Products you can use when you want stepless CCT control.

WHAT IS CRI, THE COLOUR RENDERING INDEX

High quality LED lights also have a high colour rendering index, or CRI. A good colour rendering index (CRI) for home use is above 90, and nowadays many market lights are unfortunately closer to 80.

CRI tells you how well an LED light displays colours as they should be. For designers and architects, as well as interior designers, it should be one of the most important considerations. Make sure the lighting is perfect so that your artwork is what it is meant to be.

Colour rendering index

The colour rendering index is expressed as a number on a scale from zero to 100, where 0 = no colour rendering and 100 = full colour rendering. The colour rendering index of LED lights is also known as Ra, which is measured on a smaller scale than CRI. This Ra value does not include red tones or skin tones, for example, so it is a 'glossed' figure for the true quality of an LED light.

RA value

The Ra value measures the reproduction of colours using eight different reference colours. CRI takes into account the wider (15) wavelength range, including reds and other warm colours.

The Ra value is calculated by cutting the wavelength range, weighting the blue and violet tones, and calculating the weighted average of R numbers 1-8.

Excluded from the Ra value are, for example, the colour rendering of bright reds, yellows and greens, and shades close to skin tone. These are described by R-values between 9 and 15. The following is a picture of a measurement result that easily confuses the consumer.

This measurement is from a 9W CCT Led spot
