UPPOAVA panel 600x1200, 72W, with variable light colour, is a multi-purpose luminaire for indoor and outdoor use. Suitable for the bathroom, study, kitchen, utility room, carport, etc. The panel blends perfectly into the ceiling and creates the effect of a skylight in the room lighting. The luminaire has a sliding colour temperature control (Kelvin) and is dimmable and moisture-proof. It also comes with a 5-year guarantee.

Led technology
It is not quite the same what kind of light a luminaire produces. For the home, it is recommended to choose a light with a colour rendering index (CRI) of at least 90 or more, so that the lighting looks natural to the eye. UPPOAVA -led panels have a CRI above 95 at all colour temperatures. The luminaire is dimmable and the colour tone can be continuously changed from morning and evening to daylight using CCT controls. The Panel 600x1200 luminaire is always installed with sliding colour temperature control, i.e. a transformer and controller for colour temperature control is required. Once the desired shade is found, the controller always remembers the last setting, so there is no need to reset the shade.
the 4 000K white light is pure and natural in colour, making it ideal for a light window or skylight. Higher Kelvins are reminiscent of daylight, while lower ones take you in a softer, warmer direction. With smart control, the luminaire can be automatically set to follow the desired daylight rhythm.
Structurally, the UPPOAVA -led panel uses an edge diffuser to give a soft light with no pinpointing, while the matte acrylic diffuses the light evenly to create a pleasantly even glow. The UPPOAVA 600x1200 panel is energy efficient; a 72 W LED panel is equivalent to 500 W halogen in luminous intensity, which means 6 000 lumens of light output. The luminaire has an even and glare-free / low glare light surface, as the light is evenly distributed over the luminous surface.
The frame is smooth, powder-coated white, made of aluminium, and the springs (6 pcs) are pre-attached for installation.

Installation
The luminaire is recessed in the ceiling or mounted on a surface-mounted frame that is screwed to the ceiling. For flush mounting, the installation opening must be 583x1183 mm. The luminaire itself is 595x1195x22 mm. The luminaire operates on 24 V and when installed on mains power, a power supply of at least 80 W is required, which must be purchased separately. All power supplies in our range fit inside a surface-mounted frame. The surface mounting frame is made of white painted aluminium and is 50 mm high.
The luminaire can be flush mounted in a typical ceiling structure (48x48mm) with only 48x48mm reinforcement and 13mm plasterboard under the vapour barrier. If the vapour barrier is installed loosely, we recommend installing a board or plasterboard above the luminaire to prevent the insulation from sagging. The LED will not reach high temperatures, so no fire protection is required. However, it is not recommended that the LED luminaire or power supply be mounted on any material. An air space of e.g. 1-2 cm can be left.
Switching options for dimming and colour temperature control:
- MeanWell 24VDC 90W transformer, size 145x60x30mm and Inwall CCT max. 400W. The regulator is mounted on the low current side, i.e. from the luminaire a three-wire cable allows colour temperature control, and from the regulator a 24V cable to the transformer, which is connected to the mains power supply, provides the regulator with power. If more than one panel is controlled by this controller, the transformer size is chosen according to the combined load.
- Wireless colour control (2700K-5300K) and dimming infinitely variable, transformer size 244x64x32mm. The transformer is Valo-Driver-RF-100W-24v. The transformer is connected to the selected pushbutton (ordered separately) with the options of wireless battery operated control button P1CCT, rotary wireless control button P1PRGB and remote control for controlling four CCT groups VaLO-R-CCT. If more than one panel is controlled by this controller, the transformer size is chosen according to the combined load.
- If desired, the lighting can be connected to the smart control by selecting a wireless Zigbee transformer. A 100 W 24 VDC transformer is selected for one panel (SKU: Light-Driver-ZG-100W-CCT-24v) A wireless pair can be created from a transformer and a pushbutton such as the P1CCT-ZG, or when connected to smart lighting, a connection is created to the bridge in use and, if desired, also to the wireless pushbutton. If more than one panel is controlled by this controller, the transformer size is chosen according to the combined load.
- Similarly, for DALI control, a DALI 100W (SKU: 24V-100W-DALI-CCT) transformer for CCT luminaires and a compatible push-button such as a DALI roll dimmer (SKU: DALI-rotary-P1PCCT) are selected. There are also other options for the appearance of the controller. If more than one panel is controlled by this controller, the transformer size is selected according to the combined load.

UPPOAVA LED PANEL 600*1200 CCT 2500K-6500K, is a recessed light. Installation hole should be 583x1183mm. The light can be surface mounted with a surface mounting frame that is 5mm in height and matte white. Driver size is 145x60x35mm and it can be placed maximum of 5m from the light. The driver comes with every PANEL 600*1200 CCT light. The driver is not water resistant.
LED PANEL is 13mm thick, so it fits to most of the ceiling structures (48x48mm + basic plaster board is similar in thickness). We recommend that you install a plaster board on top of the PANEL if the steam lock has been installed loosely. The LED PANEL needs 10-20mm air space on top of the light. You don't need any protection cups etc. when using led lights as the temperature of the light never exceeds 80 celsius.
If you need surface mounted light, you can order a frame with this light. The frame is 50mm in height and matte white. The driver fits inside the frame.
The reason we have decided to have the driver separate from the body is that this way the driver does not add up to the lights heath load and this makes the light last longer. The appropriate driver is included depending on the desired dimming and colour changing method.
UPPOAVA LED PANEL 600*1200 CCT can be operated with ON/OFF swich, rotary dimmers, in-wall CCT control or with wireless CCT button, rotatable CCT button or CCT remote (for 41-4 groups).

Zigbee CCT transformers

CCT wire harnesses
With our wiring harnesses you can quickly and reliably install CCT spots and CCT panels directly on one transformer. All luminaires are installed in parallel on the same transformer.
The spots come standard with a 15cm connecting cable with a connector, so you can easily create your own set with these wires.
with 3m spacer cables you can put even 2 in a row. All connection points have IP54 tight draught proofing.
In the distribution boxes (3 and 6) it is not mandatory to install a lamp on each connector.
WHAT IS CRI, THE COLOUR RENDERING INDEX
High quality LED lights also have a high colour rendering index, or CRI. A good colour rendering index (CRI) for home use is above 90, and nowadays many market lights are unfortunately closer to 80.
CRI tells you how well an LED light displays colours as they should be. For designers and architects, as well as interior designers, it should be one of the most important considerations. Make sure the lighting is perfect so that your artwork is what it is meant to be.
Colour rendering index
The colour rendering index is expressed as a number on a scale from zero to 100, where 0 = no colour rendering and 100 = full colour rendering. The colour rendering index of LED lights is also known as Ra, which is measured on a smaller scale than CRI. This Ra value does not include red tones or skin tones, for example, so it is a 'glossed' figure for the true quality of an LED light.
RA value
The Ra value measures the reproduction of colours using eight different reference colours. CRI takes into account the wider (15) wavelength range, including reds and other warm colours.
The Ra value is calculated by cutting the wavelength range, weighting the blue and violet tones, and calculating the weighted average of R numbers 1-8.
Excluded from the Ra value are, for example, the colour rendering of bright reds, yellows and greens, and shades close to skin tone. These are described by R-values between 9 and 15. The following is a picture of a measurement result that easily confuses the consumer.

TWO INSTALLATION METHODS
Basic:
Standard, where the luminaire comes with a transformer with a 3-position switch. The switch allows you to select a light temperature of 2900K/4000/5500K at the installation stage. The luminaire is TRIAC dimmable. The Led luminaires can be installed in chains.
Customizable:
Freely selectable from 2900-5500K. Selection is done by the desired lighting control system such as ZIgbee, DALI2, Z-Wave, etc. All lights are 24VDC parallel connected. Easy to add/remove Led lights. That is, the luminaire is purchased "Without its own transformer" and the luminaires are connected in parallel to one group transformer. This way all the luminaires behind the transformer are controlled by one single group and the CCT colour temperature of the luminaires can be freely adjusted and dimmed.
ACCESSORIES FOR THE PRODUCT FAMILY
The CCT product family also includes a complete IP54, pull-protected cabling kit with a 3 metre intermediate cable, and a choice of 3-piece or 6-piece splitter.
You can also use your own 3 pole cable for installation.
WHAT IS A COLOUR TEMPERATURE ADJUSTABLE LUMINAIRE?
A CCT-led light is a luminaire that allows you to change the colour temperature of white light. The range depends on the led luminaire, but can be as low as 2500K - 6500K.
The changes in colour temperature, which are clearly visible to the eye, range from yellowish light to bluish light. A temperature-controlled LED light changes the hue of the light so that the luminaire itself always has two LED circuits in parallel; cold and warm.
When the mixing ratio of the two is changed with a control, the colour temperature of the light changes. In addition to the possibility of changing the colour temperature of the light, the luminaires are dimmable.
Different materials and colours react differently to different light spectrums. It is very important to find the right colour temperature to suit your needs.
