Luminaire characteristics

BLADE 600 is a 60 cm white semi-gloss wall luminaire. BLADE 600 has a light output of 8.4W, equivalent to 600 lumens. The light colour is 3000K warm white, which corresponds to the colour of halogen. The LED light is energy efficient and long lasting, reducing electricity consumption and carbon footprint.

The luminaire is also available in a shorter model BLADE 300 (30 cm, 4.2W) and a longer model BLADE 1200 (120 cm, 16.8W).

The luminaire comes with a 3-year warranty.

NOTE: The colour of the luminaire is white semi-gloss and the product is discontinued.

BLADE lamps are also available in matt white.

Water and dust resistance

The IP class is the standard that defines the degree of protection of the luminaire against various environmental conditions. The standard uses two numbers, the first indicating protection against dust (0, no protection - 6, dustproof) and the second against moisture (0, no protection - 8, resistant to continuous immersion in water).

This luminaire has an IP54 rating, providing protection against dust and splashing water. This luminaire is suitable for use in damp areas and outdoors, such as bathrooms or covered terraces.

Ready for home automation

The wall light can be integrated into your home automation system by installing a Zigbee 230V receiver on the luminaire. Please note that the receiver must fit behind the lamp in the wall, so there must be a good matchbox of empty space.

The luminaire is not dimmable, so the receiver only provides wireless ON/OFF control of the luminaire via a button or mobile if you have a Zigbee bridge such as Philips HUE.

Applications

Entrance halls, corridors and staircases

The luminaire provides light indirectly up or down the wall, making it particularly suitable for atmospheric spaces. For example, it can be used to highlight paintings or other art on your wall, in the bathroom above a mirror, or in the bedroom next to the bed as an upright, glare-free reading light.
