Suspendable aluminium profile for LED strip with space for SLIM transformer inside. Includes diffuser, hangers (1.5 m cord) and end pieces. We recommend installing 2-4 LED strips in parallel on the profile.

Create your own pendant light

The profile allows you to easily build a light of exactly the length you want. Please let us know when ordering if you need more than one end piece or suspension wire set (2 wires). Profiles are three (3) feet long, and we also offer straight and 90 degree angle brackets to keep joints tight.

How much LED tape do I need?

Different amounts of LED strip will affect the final result, but we have tested the effect of mounting height on the amount of light. Here are the results:

• 460 lux illuminance when 4 LED strips of 17 W/m are installed at a height of 2 m above the worktop in a 1.2 m long profile
• 600 lux luminous intensity for 4 strips of 17 W/m LED at a height of 1.5 m above the worktop in a 1.2 m long profile
• +1 000 lx luminous intensity with 4 strips of 17 W/m LEDs installed at a height of 1 m above the worktop in a 1.2 m long profile.

What LED strip inside the profile?

We have endless options for hanging light. ON/OFF, Wireless, CCT control, DALI, Zigbee, etc.

Clean look, without visible transformer

A clean, uncluttered installation without visible transformers is achieved by installing the LED transformer inside the profile and simply pulling the 230V supply cable to the socket/light socket. We have a 75W or 150W Zigbee SLIM LED transformer that fits inside the aluminium profile. The Zigbee transformer has a built-in receiver, so you can buy a wireless Zigbee button (CCT or dimming) to control the light, or use an Azoula or Philips HUE app for control (requires a separate hub/HUB).

For example, the limit for a 150W LED transformer with LED strip is:

• 3 m profile with 4 CCT with adjustable LED strip
• 2.5 m profile with 4 pcs. monochrome 14.4W LED strip

Another option would be to use our 230V LED strip (3000 or 4000K) to build LED lights. Our 230V LED strip is dimmable with TRIAC dimmers.

Unlimited power and options with external transformer

If you have large installations or want RGBW or RGB+CCT in your lights, you will need an external LED transformer, as the LED profile has limited space for a transformer (36x51mm). We have white ready-made transformer boxes that will make your ceiling installation look neat and tidy.

What to use the hanging LED profile for?

This is ideal for office lighting as you can build profiles by combining even longer continuous lighting solutions. You can make squares, L-shapes and straight ones. So it fits everywhere. No length restrictions.

Why not use it in a home office or as a kitchen light?

Note

THE LED STRIP AND POWER SUPPLY ARE ORDERED SEPARATELY. We recommend using LED strips with a total power of at least 50W/meter. With this amount, the LED strips create a bright and even light. You can always dim the lights.
