LED STRIP SET for Outdoor Kitchen – WARM 3000K HELMI 14.4W/m DIMMABLE
Illuminate your summer kitchen with warm, inviting light!
Outdoor kitchen lighting
This set lets you light up your summer kitchen with warm white light. The LED strip is HELMI SMD and can be controlled wirelessly via remote control—perfect for turning lights on and off even from inside the house.
This set is ideal for DIY enthusiasts who aren’t afraid of a bit of handiwork. If you want to divide the strip into more than two sections, you’ll need a soldering iron for custom wiring.
Set includes
The WARM LED Strip Set for Summer Kitchens – HELMI 3000K includes:
- 1 roll of 5 meters, 14.4W/m HELMI 3000K IP65 LED strip (SMD)
- 1 power supply unit with built-in Zigbee wireless receiver (IP21, dimmable)
- 1 remote control
- 2 surface-mount aluminum profiles with accessories (each 2.5 m; multiple profile styles available)
- 5 meters of 2-core low-voltage cable and 2 wire connectors (2x3 outputs each)
- 1 waterproof junction box for the power supply
Technical details & installation notes
The 14.4W/m strip delivers over 1000 lumens per meter. The strip has a white backing (not visible once installed in the aluminum profile), and the high-quality 3M adhesive ensures strong bonding.
Now to the trickier part: corners and extensions. The strip has 30 cm of cable at both ends by default. When cut at marked 5 cm intervals, the roll becomes two usable sections. You can connect the included wires and connectors to these sections if space allows. For more than two segments, you'll need to solder new wires to the copper contact points. The LED strip uses 2-core wiring (+ and -), and the kit includes 5 meters of 2-core cable and push-in connectors for power supply connection.
The profile has IP44 rating from below (splash-proof) and IP65 from above. It can be cut with a hacksaw or a circular saw with a wood blade. Seal the end caps using hot glue or similar to maintain water resistance.
The included power supply also functions as a Zigbee 3.0 receiver, which can be integrated with smart home systems like Philips Hue or SmartThings. It features screw terminals at both ends (not a plug-in model) and supports two LED strip connections.

Installation tips
LED strips in summer kitchens should be installed just like in any other setup—glued to metal (such as the included aluminum profiles) to dissipate heat effectively, which extends the lifespan of the LEDs. Wood expands and contracts in outdoor conditions, so the strip's adhesive alone won’t hold up long without proper heat-sinking.
Note: LED strips do not bend sideways—corners must be cut and reconnected with soldered wires, or separate connections routed to each strip section from the driver.
Installation Steps Overview:
- Measure your installation location.
- Cut the LED strip to the correct lengths (at 5 cm intervals).
- Cut the aluminum profiles (leave a few extra cm for connections).
- Stick the LED strips onto the profiles before mounting, and install the covers and end caps.
- Mount the profile brackets (4–5 brackets per 2.5 m), and snap the profiles into place.
- Install the waterproof box and drill two holes underneath for the cables.
- Route the wires from the strip to the driver and connect via the screw terminals.
- Have a licensed electrician connect the driver to mains power.
- Pair the wireless remote with the driver (instructions included).
- Enjoy your beautifully lit summer kitchen!
