Features of the luminaire

Led KANTTI 033 is a quadrangular, directional, colour temperature adjustable and dimmable downlight with 15W and 1000 lumens light output. The luminaire has an extra lens for light equalisation, which, when removed, doubles the lumen output.

The luminaire is moisture-proof (IP44) and the LED circuits are of high quality LedStore's own LED circuits with perfect colour rendering (CRI98). The luminaire's light comes beautifully from a single point.

Manual colour temperature selection

Colour temperature adjustable, dimmable luminaires give single tone dimmable luminaires more options in terms of luminaire availability. When choosing a TRIAC base transformer, you can select a warm, neutral or cool color temperature from a fixed switch.

The power must be switched off before changing the colour, otherwise the luminaire will be damaged.

Stepless colour temperature control

If you want the luminaire to have infinitely variable colour temperature control, please also order a Zigbee or DALI-2 transformer suitable for your system.
Please note that the transformer must be connected to the luminaire via a three-pole cable in order to achieve the colour temperature control.

Water and dust resistance

The IP class is a standard that defines the level of protection of a luminaire against different environmental conditions. The standard uses two numbers, the first indicating protection against dust (0, no protection - 6, dustproof) and the second against moisture (0, no protection - 8, resistant to continuous immersion in water). This LED KANTTI directional downlight has an IP44 rating, providing protection against dust and splashing water. This luminaire is therefore suitable for use in damp areas and outdoors, such as bathrooms or covered terraces.
The transformer of the luminaire is not splash-proof, but can withstand outdoor use in eaves.

Materials of the luminaire

The LED KANTTI directional is made of cast aluminium, with the LED circuit directly fixed to the frame. The solution achieves maximum thermal conductivity and safe operating temperature (below 50 degrees Celsius). The low operating temperature and the high quality LED circuit guarantees a long lifetime of 50,000h and we grant a 7 year warranty!

The LED module of the luminaire is removable and replaceable.

WHAT IS CRI, THE COLOUR RENDERING INDEX

High quality LED lights also have a high colour rendering index, or CRI. A good colour rendering index (CRI) for home use is above 90, and nowadays many market lights are unfortunately closer to 80.

CRI tells you how well an LED light displays colours as they should be. For designers and architects, as well as interior designers, it should be one of the most important considerations. Make sure the lighting is perfect so that your artwork is what it is meant to be.

Colour rendering index

The colour rendering index is expressed as a number on a scale from zero to 100, where 0 = no colour rendering and 100 = full colour rendering. The colour rendering index of LED lights is also known as Ra, which is measured on a smaller scale than CRI. This Ra value does not include red tones or skin tones, for example, so it is a 'glossed' figure for the true quality of an LED light.

RA value

The Ra value measures the reproduction of colours using eight different reference colours. CRI takes into account the wider (15) wavelength range, including reds and other warm colours.

The Ra value is calculated by cutting the wavelength range, weighting the blue and violet tones, and calculating the weighted average of R numbers 1-8.

Excluded from the Ra value are, for example, the colour rendering of bright reds, yellows and greens, and shades close to skin tone. These are described by R-values between 9 and 15. The following is a picture of a measurement result that easily confuses the consumer.
