LED KANTTI SQ023 (black) 15W luminaire is dimmable and moisture-proof (IP54), also from behind. This is a more efficient version of our popular luminaire for demanding applications. As LED circuit we use high quality Citizen LED circuits with a colour rendering index (CRI) of 98 (full spectrum!) and the colours are reproduced as they should be. In the luminaire, the light comes beautifully from a single point. The luminaire is also available in brushed aluminium with a clear aluminium inner frame and in white. NOTE! The luminaire is 36V!
LED KANTTI SQ023 is suitable for general lighting from private homes to public spaces. The luminous intensity of the LED KANTTI 023 is equivalent to at least 75W halogen, +1000 Lumen. The luminaire has an extra lens with light equalization, which, when removed, produces 1250 Lumen.
A 9W (24V) version is also available, with a luminous efficacy of 600 Lumens.
The luminaire has an adjustable light temperature of 2700-4000-5300K with a switch, so you can choose the colour that suits your interior. Even change according to the seasons! If you want to adjust the colour temperature of the light wirelessly without a ladder, you need a VaLO transformer and a wireless button.
The luminaire is IP54, which means it is splash-proof, even from behind. The transformer of the luminaire is not splash-proof, but can withstand outdoor use in eaves.
LED KANTTI SQ023 is a flush mounted luminaire in cast aluminium, with the LED circuitry mounted directly on the body. The solution achieves maximum thermal conductivity and safe operating temperature (below 50 degrees Celsius). The low operating temperature and the high quality LED circuit guarantees a long lifetime of 50,000h and we grant a 7 year warranty on our manufactured luminaire!
The LED module and the power supply are removable and replaceable.
Choice of transformer
The basic transformer of the luminaire is dimmable, quick-connect and chainable, which makes installation quick and easy. The transformer fits through the mounting hole in the lowering recess. The basic transformer is available in warm, neutral or cold light colour temperatures.
You can also opt for stepless CCT adjustment by purchasing a 36V transformer and a 36V receiver to match your preferred lighting control system. Please contact our shop and we will help you choose the products you need.
Installation
The luminaire has a fixed body. The luminaire is very low, only 50mm high! The luminaire will therefore fit into a typical roof structure with only 48x48mm of coloured board and 13mm plasterboard under the vapour barrier. We recommend installing a piece of board or plasterboard above the luminaire to prevent the insulation from sagging. The diameter of the mounting hole is 78mm.
Each luminaire is supplied with its own dimmable, chained power supply which fits through the mounting hole into the mounting space. By moving the power supply away from the luminaire, we prevent the power supply from heating up the luminaire, as well as being able to keep the size of the luminaire small. The power supplies are long-lived and this also allows us to avoid the typical problem of halogen lamps, where one power supply is subjected to a heavy load and gets hot, and breaks the luminaire. There is a quick connector between the luminaire and the power supply for easy installation. Changing the colour temperature of the light is done via a switch on the power supply.
Dimming
The luminaire can be dimmed with a wireless dimmer or TRIAC dimmers, from the ENSIO side and they also work with home automation such as KNX. Suitable dimmers can also be ordered from us, "Led dimmers"
