Features of the luminaire

HALO 800 is a horizontal light mirror, ideal for bathrooms and toilets (IP55). This 14W LED mirror luminaire has a luminous intensity equivalent to at least 75W halogen and provides 1200 lumens. The mirror has a 3 cm wide milk glass frame, backed by a moisture-proof LED strip for glare-free illumination. The colour and gloss level of the wall behind the mirror have a significant influence on the light output. The mirror is rectangular, 800 mm wide and 600 mm high.

Fume extraction

The mirror has a de-fogging function which heats the surface of the mirror and removes moisture from the mirror surface within minutes, keeping the mirror bright. The heating element increases the power consumption of the mirror by 20-40 W when switched on, depending on the size of the mirror. HALO CCT is made of 5 mm thick HD glass and has a metal frame. The lights, temperature control, dimming and defrosting of the HALO mirror light are operated by two touch switches. A blue light shines on the perimeter of the switches when the functions are not on and a white light when the functions are on.

Light control options

The colour temperature of the light is adjustable via a knob on the mirror, 3000K warm white light, 4000K neutral white light and 5500K cool white light.

All colour temperatures can be dimmed individually and continuously by pressing the power button on the bottom. The last dimming level is memorised for each colour temperature separately. This greatly increases the versatility of the mirror. For example, in the evening before going to bed you can set the mirror light to a warm tone and dim it to a very dim one, and at night the light will come on in the night mode you have set. The on/off switch is easy to find, with a blue light glowing around the switch.

Water and dust resistance

The IP rating is a standard that defines the level of protection of the luminaire against different environmental conditions. The standard uses two numbers, the first indicating protection against dust (0, no protection - 6, dustproof) and the second against moisture (0, not protected - 8, resistant to continuous immersion in water). This luminaire has an IP55 rating, making it suitable for use in damp locations and outdoors, such as bathrooms or covered terraces.
