Black square, adjustable IP21 lamp frame for GU10/MR16 sockets

LedStore’s black square, triple-ring lamp frame, i.e., a lamp holder with an optional lamp base. You can adjust the angle of the lamp in the frame from 0 to 30 degrees. Choose between MR16 or GU10 bases.

Functional lamp holder

This black housing is designed so that the lamp installed in it can be adjusted from 0 to 30 degrees. The mounting hole is 75 mm. The bulb can be replaced by pulling on the inner part of the frame, without having to remove the entire frame.

The outer diameter of the frame is 92x92 mm, and the frame’s surface protrudes 2 mm. The mounting hole is therefore round

IP21 protection for dry locations

This frame is only IP21-rated and does not protect the bulb from water.

This holder is compatible with GU10 and MR16 (GU5.3) base bulbs.

LED bulb options

GU10 LED bulb

GU10 bulbs operate directly on mains voltage. We offer several GU10 models, including warm white (3,000 K) and neutral white (4,000 K), as well as a Zigbee bulb with adjustable color temperature.

The installation space in the ceiling for a GU10 must be at least 90 mm, including the frame, the GU10 bulb, and the base.

MR16 (GU5.3) LED Bulb

MR16 (GU5.3) bulbs operate on 12V DC, so they require a power supply. We offer several MR16 models, such as warm 3,000 K and neutral 4,000 K white. Our selection also includes 12V power supplies for lighting fixtures of various sizes.

The installation space in the ceiling must be at least 70 mm when using an MR16, including the frame, the MR16 bulb, and the base.

Safety Note for Installation

When using this product, you must comply with all fire safety regulations applicable to the installation of halogen lamps, as it is possible to install a halogen lamp in this fixture and socket. A halogen lamp may reach temperatures exceeding 200 degrees Celsius.

Information

The LedStore FRAME + SOCKET package is intended for applications where you want the bulb to have a standard socket and be replaceable. We recommend using a high-quality LedStore LED bulb in the frame, which reduces the frequency of replacements and minimizes the heat load generated by the light source.

When selecting a recessed LED fixture equipped with a replaceable bulb, keep in mind that fire protection must be installed around the fixture in the same way as for halogen spotlights. If no guard has been installed, you should factor in the cost of one when selecting the fixture. The guard is required for fire safety reasons, as it is possible to inadvertently install a halogen bulb—which can heat up to over 200 degrees—in place of an LED bulb. Such an accident cannot occur with LED spotlights, as their base type or module is not compatible with previous halogen lights.
