5m LED strip SOLO TUNNELMA, CCT, 24V, 3,6W/m, IP65, CRI95

In stock at 34 pcs
SKU#: STRIP36-24V-IP65-CCT-COB

The Solo 3,6W/m light strip can be adjusted between 2600K and 7000K. The colour rendering index of the strip is 94-95 which means that colours are reproduced well (colours are best reproduced with 4000K white light, as there is no yellowish or bluish tint involved). The Solo 3.6W/m ribbon is very flat and efficient, 210 lumens/m and has 192 LED circuits per metre. This LED strip is dimmable and the colour control can be activated by ordering a VaLO RF or Zigbee (CCT) pushbutton and receiver (CCT).

This is our lowest power led strip and is recommended for use in Saunas, Stairs and Staircases. In other words, places where only ambient light is sufficient.

  • Product description

The Solo 3,6W/m light strip can be adjusted between 2600K and 7000K. The colour rendering index of the ribbon is 95 which means that the colours are well reproduced (best reproduced with 4000K white light, as there is no yellowish or bluish tint involved). This led ribbon is dimmable and the colour control can be made to work by ordering a VaLO RF or Zigbee series (CCT) pushbutton and receiver (CCT) .

This is our lowest wattage led strip and its recommended applications are Saunas, Staircases and Staircases. In other words, places where only ambient light is sufficient. As this is also a waterproof Led strip IP65, you can also use it outdoors.

    Product information

The Solo 3,6W/m ribbon is a very flat and efficient 210 lumens/m with 192 LED circuits per meter. This makes the light uniform. The width of the led strip is 12mm which provides a really good soldering space for the spacers and a gripping surface, as well as heat dissipation.

    Installation

The LED strip comes in 5m rolls and can be cut to size up to 42mm apart. The strip comes with 10cm of splicing wire pre-wired at both ends. Red wire is +, white is C cold white and yellow is W warm white. Our Led strip is easy to attach with the included 3M high adhesive tape. The cut points can be found on the underside of the strip under the tape. The cutting points have copper dots, so you can solder a low-current wire to the strip from these points to connect to the transformer. We recommend soldering the tapes together. When soldering, use a knife to remove the silicone coating that protects the strip at the copper points.

We recommend that for long runs (over 10m) the transformer supply is branched at both ends of the LED strip to avoid light degradation at one end of the strip. The led strip should always be attached to an aluminium strip so that excess heat is conducted away from the led circuit. This will prolong the life of the led strip. Aluminium profiles can be ordered from our online shop, where we have a wide range of different profiles available.

The CCT led strip is connected to a CCT adjustable transformer (RF or Zigbee) or, in larger installations, to a separate control unit, and the control unit is connected to a power supply which is connected to the mains.

The LED strip works well with solar power, boats and cars if they use 24VDC. Then a separate power supply is not needed. In other cases, order a 24V power supply of suitable power for the strip. The power supply does not need to be dimmable when dimming with a regulator and receiver. Alternatively, a wireless control RF or Zigbee transformer is available, where the transformer is paired directly with the wireless button.

We are happy to help with installation and ordering questions.

To dim the LED strip, you can use the wireless dimmer of our VaLO RF series. The strips can also be controlled by DALI systems. Wireless dimming is perfect for applications where there is no wall switch for the luminaire, but the luminaire is powered by a constant current.

In the case of a smart home, a Zigbee transformer and controllers for wireless control are chosen. In Zigbee transformers, the receiver is already built-in.

With the VaLO RF wireless solution, you simply install the receiver between the LED strip and the power supply. You can then control the strip with wireless switches from wherever you want. The wireless switch is powered by batteries, which are easily replaceable. You can also mount the switch on the wall if you wish, but it does not need a separate power supply.

    Create your own light

Why use CCT LED strip only for traditional applications when you can make a luminaire out of almost anything? Create your own wall light by bending the LED strip and the aluminium profile to the shape you want, or by fixing the LED strip to another heat-conducting material. Turn a mirror, table frame, trunk, table or chair into a lamp with the LED strip. A good design is half the job. We are happy to help you with your design, and we make LED strip made to measure at LedStore's LedShop.

Zigbee CCT led drivers

Zigbee CCT Products that you can use when you want stepless CCT control. Compatible wiht Philips HUE!

The light is ordered without its own driver and a group driver is selected for CCT spots or CCT panels, as well as for CCT led strip lighting.

The transformer size for spots and panels is calculated by adding up the Watts + 25%.

For the CCT led strip, a 15% margin is sufficient.

e.g. 4x 9W CCT spot = 45W, so the closest is 50W

RF CCT LED drivers

RF CCT Products that you can use when you want stepless CCT control. Led light is ordered without its own led driver. Then a group led driver (one to control all) is selected for CCT spotlights or CCT panels, as well as for CCT led strip lighting.

The transformer/led driver size for spots and panels is calculated by adding up the Watts + 25%.

For the CCT led strip, a 15% margin is sufficient.

DALI2 (DT8) CCT Led drivers

DALI2 CCT Products you can use when you want stepless CCT control.

WHAT IS CRI, THE COLOUR RENDERING INDEX

High quality LED lights also have a high colour rendering index, or CRI. A good colour rendering index (CRI) for home use is above 90, and nowadays many market lights are unfortunately closer to 80.

CRI tells you how well an LED light displays colours as they should be. For designers and architects, as well as interior designers, it should be one of the most important considerations. Make sure the lighting is perfect so that your artwork is what it is meant to be.

Colour rendering index

The colour rendering index is expressed as a number on a scale from zero to 100, where 0 = no colour rendering and 100 = full colour rendering. The colour rendering index of LED lights is also known as Ra, which is measured on a smaller scale than CRI. This Ra value does not include red tones or skin tones, for example, so it is a 'glossed' figure for the true quality of an LED light.

RA value

The Ra value measures the reproduction of colours using eight different reference colours. CRI takes into account the wider (15) wavelength range, including reds and other warm colours.

The Ra value is calculated by cutting the wavelength range, weighting the blue and violet tones, and calculating the weighted average of R numbers 1-8.

Excluded from the Ra value are, for example, the colour rendering of bright reds, yellows and greens, and shades close to skin tone. These are described by R-values between 9 and 15. The following is a picture of a measurement result that easily confuses the consumer.

This measurement is from a 9W CCT Led spot
