5m LED strip light SOLO TUNNELMA, CCT, 24V, 14,4W/m, IP65, CRI93

The SOLO TUNNELMA 14,4W/m strip light has a colour temperature adjustment from 2500K to 6500K. The colour rendering index of the ribbon is 93 which means that the colours are well reproduced (best reproduced with 4000K white light, as there is no yellowish or bluish tint involved). This led ribbon is dimmable and the colour temperature control can be operated by ordering a VaLO RF or Zigbee series (CCT) button and receiver (CCT) .

Product information

The Solo 14,4W/m ribbon is highly uniform and efficient (592 lumens per meter) and has 280 LED circuits per meter. This makes the light uniform.

NOTE: Due to standard naming conventions, CCT, RGB+W, RGB+CCT LED strips have a lower actual output.

This CCT 14,4W/m LED strip, actually uses less power, because both LED circuits (warm and cold) are not used in our controllers at full power at the same time. 14,4 W/m CCT LED strip has 7,2W+7,2W (=14,4W) LED circuits and CCT controllers adjust the power between these two circuits. As a result, the power consumption practically never exceeds 8W. The actual power of the LED strip is therefore 8W/m, although the declared power is 14.4W/m.

Installation

The LED strip comes in 5m rolls and can be cut to size in 50mm increments. The tape is clearly marked for easy cutting. We recommend soldering the strips together. Our LED strip is easy to attach with the included 3M high grip tape. The soldering points of the tape are located at the cut marks on the underside of the tape under the tape. There are three solder points, one + on one edge of the strip and two minus, cold C and warm W, side by side on the other edge.

We recommend that for long runs (over 10m) the transformer supply is branched at both ends of the LED strip to avoid a reduction of light at one end of the strip. The led strip should always be attached to an aluminium strip so that excess heat is conducted away from the led circuit. This will prolong the life of the led strip. Aluminium profiles can be ordered from our online shop, where we have a wide range of different profiles available.

The CCT led strip is connected to a CCT adjustable transformer (RF or Zigbee) or, in larger installations, to a separate control unit, and the control unit is connected to a power supply which is connected to the mains.

The LED strip works well with solar power, boats and cars if they use 24VDC. Then a separate power supply is not needed. In other cases, order a 24V power supply of suitable power for the strip. The power supply does not need to be dimmable when dimming with a regulator and receiver. Alternatively, a wireless control RF or Zigbee transformer is available, where the transformer is paired directly to the wireless button.

To dim the LED strip, you can use the wireless dimmer of our VaLO RF series. The strips can also be controlled by DALI systems. Wireless dimming is perfect for applications where there is no wall switch for the luminaire, but the luminaire is powered by a constant current.

In the case of a smart home, a Zigbee transformer and controllers for wireless control are chosen. In Zigbee transformers, the receiver is already built-in.

With the VaLO RF wireless solution, you simply install the receiver between the LED strip and the power supply. You can then control the strip with wireless switches from wherever you want. The wireless switch is powered by batteries, which are easily replaceable. You can also mount the switch on the wall if you wish, but it does not need a separate power supply.
