Led ribbon light - DC, 17w/m 24V
Our flat led strip light has a luminous intensity of 17W/m and a staggering 240 led circuits per metre. This makes the light very even. When mounted on an aluminium profile, there is no spotting and the light is uniform. In the Flat Light Strip we use SMD 3528 LED chips with a colour rendering index, CRI, of 97. The light does not glow or yellow but has a natural appearance. This LED strip light is dimmable and waterproof (non-yellowing surface). The 17W/m flat LED strip light is easily the equivalent of 120cm fluorescent tube, so you save a lot of electricity with this solution!
3 different light shades are available. Halogen equivalent 3000K and a slightly more modern neutral white 4000K. And of course 3500K in between if you're not sure.

Installation
Led strip light 17w comes in 1m rolls and can be cut to size every 2,5cm. The strip light has clear markings to make cutting easier. We recommend soldering the light strips together, as we have found that the quick-release fasteners loosen over time and loosening causes the lights to flash.
We recommend powering from both ends if the strip light is more than 10m in a continuous length. This prevents light loss and provides equally bright light from both ends. Both ends can be supplied by a single transformer if a thin wire is run alongside the profile. An electrician can do this kind of work.
Our led strip light is easily attached with the 3M very adhesive tape on it. led strip light should always be attached to an aluminium strip so that excess heat is conducted away from the led circuit. This will prolong the life of the led strip light. Aluminium profiles can be ordered from our online shop, where they are available in a variety of different types.
The led strip light works well with solar energy, boats and cars that use 24VDC, then a separate power supply is not needed. In other cases, order a power supply here.
Dimming
To dim your Led strip light you can use either a traditional rotary wired dimmer or our VaLO series wireless dimmer. Wireless dimming is perfect for applications where there is no wall switch for the lamp, but the lamp is powered by a constant current. With this system, you simply install a receiver between the LED strip light and the power supply and control the strip light with a wireless switch wherever you want. The wireless switch is powered by batteries, which are replaceable. You can also mount the switch on the wall if you wish, but you don't need a separate power supply. When using a rotary, conventional dimmer, the transformer of the LED strip light must be TRIAC dimmable. For smart homes, choose a Zigbee transformer and controllers
Create your own light
Why use an LED strip light only for traditional applications when you can make a luminaire out of almost anything? Create your own wall light by bending the LED strip light and an aluminium profile into the shape you want, or by attaching the LED strip light to another heat-conducting material. Turn a mirror, table frame, trunk, table or chair into a lamp with the LED strip light. A good design is half the job.
