LED strip light - HELMEILE 14,4 W/m

Our Helmeile ribbon has a luminous intensity of 14.4W/m and 120 LED circuits per metre. The roll contains 5 meters of LED strip light with 120 LED circuits per meter, which makes the light uniform enough for indirect lighting and countertop lighting, for example. When mounted on a shallow (7mm) aluminium profile, the pointing is only slightly noticeable. When indirectly illuminated through a wall, the light is uniform. The CRI of the strip light is over 95, which is excellent and suitable for use in home lighting. This led strip light 24V version is more resistant to long feeds without light fade than its sister product 12V 14,4 W/m.

In the Helmeile strip light we use SMD 2835 LED chips with a colour rendering index of over 95. This led strip light is dimmable and waterproof (non-yellowing, thin silicone surface).Our led strip light is easy to attach with the 3M adhesive tape on it.This led strip light 14,4W/m is equivalent in light output to almost 120cm fluorescent tube, so you save a lot of electricity with this solution!

The Led strip is available in three light colours. The halogen equivalent 3000K and the slightly more modern neutral white 4000K and cool white 5500K.

If you want a led strip light where the colour temperature of the light can be changed infinitely from the same strip light, then the 14,4 W/m CCT-led strip light is your choice.

Installation

In addition to the led strip light, you will also need a power supply and an aluminium profile, as well as operating switches.

The LED strip light comes in a 1m roll and can be cut to size every 5cm. The light strip has clear markings to make cutting easier. We recommend soldering the light strips together, as we have found that the quick-release fasteners loosen over time and loosening causes the lights to flash. Both ends of the light strip have pre-soldered connectors with DC plugs that can be used depending on the destination.

We recommend powering from both ends if the strip light is more than 10 metres in a continuous length. This prevents light loss and provides an equally bright light from both ends. the LED strip should always be attached to an aluminium strip so that excess heat is conducted away from the LED circuit. This extends the life of the led strip light and keeps the warranty valid. Aluminium profiles can be ordered from our online shop, where they are available in several different types.

Led strip light 24V works well with solar power and boats that use 24VDC, then a separate power supply is not needed. In other cases, please order a suitable 24V power supply for the strip light (e.g. 10m 14,4W is 72W in total, so any 24V power supply over 80W will work).

Connecting plugless transformers is electrical work and requires adequate qualifications. We are happy to help with any installation questions.

Dim

For dimming your led strip light you can use either a traditional rotary wired dimmer or our VaLO RF series wireless dimmer. When using a conventional rotary dimmer, the transformer of the LED strip light must be TRIAC dimmable. The strips can also be controlled by DALI systems. Wireless dimming is perfect for applications where there is no wall switch for the luminaire, but the luminaire is powered by a constant current.

In the case of a smart home, a Zigbee transformer and controllers for wireless control are chosen. In Zigbee transformers, the receiver is already built-in.

With the VaLO RF wireless solution, you simply install the receiver between the LED strip light and the power supply. You can then control the strip light with wireless switches from wherever you want. The wireless switch is powered by batteries, which are easily replaceable. You can also mount the switch on the wall if you wish, but it does not need a separate power supply.

Create your own lamp

Why use an LED strip light only for traditional applications when you can make a luminaire out of almost anything?
