The colour temperature of the light in the Mood strip can be adjusted between 2600K and 7500K. The colour rendering index of the light strip is over 93 which means that the colours are well reproduced (the best colours are reproduced with 4000K white light, as there is no yellowish or bluish tint involved). This led light strip is dimmable and the colour control can be operated by ordering a VaLO RF or Zigbee series (CCT) button and receiver (CCT) .

Product information

The more powerful version of our mood strip is 22W/m (822 lumens per meter) and has 120 LED circuits per meter. This makes the light even for indirect lighting, for example. When mounted on an aluminium profile, the spotlight is only noticeable when viewed directly from the front. When indirectly illuminated through a wall, the light is uniform. The CRI of the strip light is over 93, which is excellent and suitable for use in home lighting.

Installation

The Led strip light comes in a 1m roll and can be cut to size in increments of 5cm. The strip light has clear markings to make cutting easier. We recommend soldering the light strips together, as we have found that the quick-release fasteners loosen over time and loosening causes the lights to flash. our led strip light is easy to attach with the 3M very strong adhesive tape that comes with it.

We recommend that for long runs (over 10m) the transformer is branched at both ends of the LED strip light to avoid light degradation at one end of the strip light. the led strip should always be attached to an aluminium strip to allow excess heat to escape from the led circuitry. This will prolong the life of the led strip light. Aluminium profiles can be ordered from our online shop, where we have a wide range of different profiles available.

the 10m CCT led strip light is connected to a CCT adjustable transformer (RF or Zigbee) or in larger installations to a separate control unit, and the control unit is connected to a power supply which is connected to the mains.

Led strip lighting works well with solar power, boats and cars if they use 24VDC. Then a separate power supply is not needed. In other cases, order a 24V power supply of suitable power for the strip light. The power supply does not need to be dimmable when dimming with a regulator and receiver. Alternatively, a wireless control RF or Zigbee transformer is available, where the transformer is paired directly with the wireless pushbutton.

To dim your Led strip light, you can use the wireless dimmer in our VaLO RF series. The strips can also be controlled by DALI systems. Wireless dimming is perfect for applications where there is no wall switch for the luminaire, but the luminaire is powered by a constant current.

In the case of a smart home, a Zigbee transformer and controllers for wireless control are chosen. In Zigbee transformers, the receiver is already built-in.

With the VaLO RF wireless solution, you simply install the receiver between the LED strip light and the power supply. You can then control the strip light with wireless switches from wherever you want. The wireless switch is powered by batteries, which are easily replaceable. You can also mount the switch on the wall if you wish, but it does not need a separate power supply.
