5m LED strip light HELMI, 10000K, 24V, 7,2W/m, IP65, CRI95
Ultra cool daylight LED strip, 10000K, 7.2W/m, provides uniform light when mounted on an aluminium profile. The ribbon has a colour rendering index of 95 which means that colours are reproduced beautifully. This LED strip is dimmable and is ideal for applications such as reef tank or aquarium lighting (note: not submersible in water, splash/splash resistant, IP65), dock or near water lighting, or other similar applications where bluish daylight is desired.

Product information
the 10000K 7,2W/m light strip is uniform and efficient (669 lumens per meter) and has 120 LED circuits per meter. This makes the light even when mounted on an aluminium profile.
Installation
The LED strip comes in 5m rolls and can be cut to size up to 50mm apart. The ribbon comes with a connecting cable pre-wired at both ends. Our LED strip is easy to attach with the included 3M very strong adhesive tape. The cut points have copper dots, so you can solder a low-current wire to the strip at these points, which is connected to the transformer. We recommend soldering the tapes together. When soldering, use a knife to remove the silicone coating that protects the strip at the copper points.
We recommend that for long runs (over 10m), the transformer supply is branched at both ends of the LED strip to avoid light degradation at one end of the strip. The led strip should always be attached to an aluminium strip so that excess heat is conducted away from the led circuit. This will prolong the life of the led strip. Aluminium profiles can be ordered from our online shop, where we have a wide range of different profiles available. We also offer a range of branching plugs and connecting wires.
LED strip works well with solar power, boats and cars if they use 24VDC. Then a separate power supply is not needed. In other cases, order a 24V power supply of suitable power for the strip. The power supply does not need to be dimmable when dimming with a regulator and receiver. Alternatively, there is also a wireless control RF or Zigbee transformer, where the transformer pair is connected directly to the wireless button.

To dim your LED strip, you can use either a traditional rotary, wired dimmer or our VaLO RF Series wireless dimmer. When using the rotary conventional dimmer, the transformer of the LED strip must be TRIAC dimmable. The strips can also be controlled by DALI systems. Wireless dimming is perfect for applications where there is no wall switch for the luminaire, but the luminaire is powered by a constant current.
In the case of a smart home, a Zigbee transformer and controllers for wireless control are chosen. In Zigbee transformers, the receiver is already built-in.
With the VaLO RF wireless solution, you simply install the receiver between the LED strip and the power supply. You can then control the strip with wireless switches from wherever you want. The wireless switch is powered by batteries, which are easily replaceable. You can also mount the switch on the wall if you wish, but it does not need a separate power supply.
Create your own light
Why use an LED strip only for traditional applications when you can make a light from almost anything? Create your own wall light by bending the LED strip and the aluminium profile to the shape you want, or by fixing the LED strip to another heat-conducting material. Turn a mirror, table frame, trunk, table or chair into a lamp with the LED strip. A good design is half the job. We are happy to help you with your design, and we make LED strip made to measure at LedStore's LedShop.
