5m High-Density LED Strip Light, HELMI TUNNELMA, CCT, 24V, 14.4W/m, IP20, CRI96
The color temperature of this CCT LED strip can be adjusted between 2700K and 8800K. The strip’s color rendering index is 96, which means colors are rendered naturally and with exceptional accuracy (colors are rendered best under 4000K white light, as it has no yellowish or bluish tint). This LED strip is dimmable, and the color temperature is adjusted by ordering a CCT button and a CCT receiver from the VaLO series or the Zigbee series. Other control options are also available.
Product Information
This LED strip has a power consumption of 14.4W/m (527 lumens per meter) and features 198 LED chips per meter. This results in a fairly even light output. Even when installed in a low-profile aluminum profile, the light appears only slightly spot-like when viewed directly from the front. When illuminated indirectly through a wall, the light is very even. The strip’s CRI is 96, which is excellent and well-suited for home lighting. The strip is only 8 mm wide, so it fits even in tight installations and profiles.
Installation
The LED strip comes in 5-meter rolls and can be cut every 3 cm. The strip has clear markings to make cutting easier. We recommend soldering the strip together, as we have found that quick-connect clips loosen over time, causing the lights to flicker. Our LED strip is easy to attach using the included high-strength 3M tape. The strip should always be mounted on metal so that excess heat is dissipated away from the LED circuits. This ensures the strip lasts and does not break.
If the LED strip is longer than 10 m, we recommend powering it from both ends or from the center of the strip. This prevents a drop in brightness, and the strip will shine just as brightly from both ends. The LED strip must always be mounted on an aluminum profile to ensure that excess heat is dissipated from the LED circuits. This extends the strip’s service life and keeps the warranty valid. Aluminum profiles can be ordered from our online store.
LED strips work well with 24 V systems, such as solar power, as well as in boats and cars. In these cases, a separate power supply is not needed, but a controller is, of course, required. In other cases, order a 24 V inverter suitable for the loop.
We’re happy to help if you have any questions about installation or your order.
Dimming
To dim LED strips, you can use the wireless dimmer from our VaLO RF series. The strips can also be controlled using DALI systems. Wireless dimming is ideal for locations where there is no wall switch for the light fixture, but the fixture receives a constant power supply.
For smart homes, choose the Zigbee adapter and controllers for wireless control. Zigbee adapters come with a built-in receiver.
With the wireless VaLO RF solution, you simply install the receiver between the LED strip and the power supply. You can then control the strip using wireless switches from wherever you like. The wireless switch runs on batteries that are easy to replace. If you prefer, you can also mount the switch on the wall, but it does not require a separate power source.
Create Your Own Light Fixture
Why limit yourself to using LED strips in traditional ways when you can make a light fixture out of almost anything? Create your own wall lamp by bending the LED strip and aluminum profile into the shape you want, or by attaching the LED strip to another heat-conducting material. A mirror, picture frame, table, or chair can be transformed into a lamp with the help of an LED strip. Well planned is half done. We’re happy to help with the design, and we custom-manufacture LED strips at LedStore’s LedPaja.
