What are smart screens and hubs?

Smart Displays and Hubs connect all the smart devices in your home into a single ecosystem. They allow you to easily control everything from one central interface, such as a touchscreen or an app.

When to choose a smart screen and when to choose a HUB?

A smart screen includes a HUB, but sometimes just a HUB without a smart screen is enough.

HUB

Choose a HUB only if you don't want a smart screen and prefer to manage your home with your phone or tablet. The app allows you to do all the same things as a smart screen, but you only manage it via your smart device.

If you have Alexa, AppleHomekit or Google Home, for example, and want to control your home via it, a HUB is enough for you. Just connect the HUB to your router with a cable.

Smart Display

The smart display makes managing your smart home efficient and effortless. The Smart Display includes the HUB, so you can also manage your home from your smart device using the app. Choose Smart Display when you want, for example:

• See your camera feed also from smart screen
• See instantly on the screen who is ringing the doorbell and opening the door
• Control the music and devices in your room from the wall screen
• Add and delete devices directly from the screen

The potential of automation

The Tuya system supports a wide range of timers and automations. For example, you can set lights to turn on and off at certain times or program curtains to close automatically in the evening

Examples of automations:

• Wake-up lights: set the lights to come on in the morning according to your wake-up time.
• Energy saving: switch off all lights and appliances with a single press of a button.

NOTE! In terms of lighting, all the ZG3.0 lights we have tested so far have worked. Wifi and BLuetooth devices must be Tuya compatible!

Installation

Installation is quick and easy. Most products do not require complex setup and can be connected directly to existing Zigbee/Tuya devices in the home

1. Install the display to the existing switch mode (requires 0 and phase)
2. Connect it to the app by scanning the QR code (requires 2.4Ghz Wifi)
