Decorative lighting

LedStore's own brand of interior lighting, i.e. floor, wall, table, reading, and pendant luminaires, often provide a much needed addition to general lighting such as spotlights, panel lights or LED strip lighting. Targeted and directional luminaires are used to complement and add decorative features and functionality to a space.

In many cases, the location of decorative luminaires can only be found once the space has been furnished. This is why it is an advantage to have interior lighting that is easy to install. For example, our track lights are easy to mount on a three-phase rail, moveable on the rail and orientable. They also have a beam width adjustment feature, so they can direct light exactly where you need it.

The colour temperature of the light affects the atmosphere, the colour rendering index affects the quality

Many of our decorative luminaires have at least two options for the colour temperature of the light, warm 3000 Kelvin and neutral 4000 Kelvin. Many also have infinitely variable colour temperature control. Colour Temperature Control (CCT) means adjusting the shade of white light from warm orange-yellow to cool bluish daylight.

The colour temperature of the white light produced by a luminaire has a major influence on the way the colours of a room appear. When the luminaire has a variable or infinitely adjustable colour temperature, the light can always be made to support the other colours in the room.

The colour temperature of the light also affects the mood, for example, a warm light is suitable for the evening to create a calm atmosphere after the daylight has faded. Neutral light, on the other hand, creates a more refreshing atmosphere and is an excellent support for daylight.

All our interior luminaires have a Colour Rendering Index (CRI) of at least 85, which contributes to light quality. The colour rendering index is described by the CRI.

The combination of colour temperature control and a high colour rendering index ensures variable and high quality light in LedStore decorative luminaires.
