Recessed LED PANEL 300x300 2.0 — UPPOAVA, color changeable (CCT), 18W, dimmable, high CRI98

The latest version of the UPPOAVA 300 18W panel, a multi-purpose luminaire for indoor and outdoor use in the home. Suitable for bathrooms, terraces and kitchens. The luminaire has a variable colour temperature and is dimmable and moisture-proof. It also comes with a 5-year guarantee.

About Led technology

It doesn't matter what kind of light a luminaire produces. For the home, it is recommended to choose a light with a colour rendering index of at least 90 CRI or higher, so that the lighting looks natural to the eye. UPPOAVA -led panels have a CRI above 98 at all colour temperatures. It is possible to change the colour tone of the light by means of a switch connected to the transformer at the time of installation, approximately CW-cold 6500K, DW-neutral 4100K, WW-warm white 2700K.

The UPPOAVA -led panel uses an edge diffuser, so the light comes in softly without spottiness, and the matte acrylic diffuses the light evenly for a pleasant uniformity. The UPPOAVA panel 300, 18W led is equivalent in light output to 125W halogen, which means a luminous efficiency of 1,500 lumens. The frame is smooth, and the springs 4 pcs are pre-mounted.

Installation

The luminaire is recessed in the ceiling or surface-mounted. When recessed, the mounting hole should be 285x285mm. The luminaire itself is 295x295x22mm and the separate power supply is 110x40x24mm. The power supply fits inside the surface mount frame.

The power supply is dimmable with wired led dimmers such as Schneider EXXACT, ABB Jussi and Impressivo, Elko, Ensto Jung, as well as our range of Led triac dimmer and VaLO Zigbee receiver dimmer. The springs are on the two sides of the panel and are pre-mounted on the panel. If you also buy a surface-mount frame, the transformer with its temperature controls will fit inside the surface-mount frame. The power supply wiring can be extended, with a three-pole cable, or, when connecting multiple panels, use CCT wires and splitters.

The luminaire fits into a typical ceiling structure with only 48x48 mm of lining and 13 mm of plasterboard under the vapour barrier. If the vapour barrier is installed loosely, we recommend installing a board or plasterboard above the luminaire to prevent the insulation from sagging. The LED will not reach high temperatures, so no fire protection is required. However, it is not recommended to mount the LED luminaire on any material and an air space of e.g. 1-2 cm can be left.

The luminaire is available with a white surface mounting frame 50 mm high. The transformer fits inside the frame.

NOTE! Requires a separate CCT colour temperature control receiver and a light controller to allow a smooth change of the colour temperature of the white light.

Dimming and colour temperature control

If a sliding colour temperature control is desired, then "no transformer" is selected from the product selection. Instead of this luminaire-specific transformer, a transformer with the desired control system is purchased, which also has a colour temperature control feature. The systems we offer include RF wireless control transformers, Zigbee smart control transformers and DALI transformers with controls.
