The SOLO family's CAMELEONTTI light ribbon! We use RGB+W 4000K led circuits with a white colour rendering index of 95! This led strip light is a high performance, fully dimmable, dot-free strip light. Our led strip light is easy to attach with its 3M high adhesive tape. Other accessories such as transformer, regulator, aluminium profile are ordered separately. The LED output power of a 5 meter roll is 15 W/metre, but the LEDs work at different times. If you are installing the whole 10m, you will need a 24V transformer suitable for at least 75W RGBW strip lighting. We recommend leaving a 10-15% load margin on the transformer. Waterline LED strip.
For stylish playful lighting
Our RGB+W 4000K ribbon has a light output of 15W (10W RGB + 5W 4000K) /m and has 560 LED circuits per metre!. This power makes the light sufficient for mood lighting.
The RGB led strip light is used in spaces where you want to create a changing atmosphere by changing the colours of the light, but because the strip light also has a very high quality white 4000K led circuit, you can illuminate the space well and see the colours as they are intended. Why? Because the strip light has a colour rendering performance of CRI 95!, making it suitable for use in home lighting or any demanding application.
SOLO LED strip lights are completely dot-free, meaning no traditional dots, and you can use our lowest profiles without seeing LED dots. Application ideas. In living rooms / cinema rooms, a RGB+4000K LED strip light can be used to create a stylish atmosphere, for example in the chute of a drop-down sash or on a sash shelf. Lighting shelves and levels with RGB+4000K-led strip lighting from different directions also creates an interesting, changing look throughout the room. In children's rooms and bedrooms, RGB-led strip lighting is also a great choice when you want the joy and vibrancy of colour, or alternatively for calm and relaxing lighting with white light. Installation
SOLO RGB+W led strip light comes in 1m rolls and can be cut to size and soldered every 5cm. We also sell the ribbon in lengths of your choice (note the cutting spacing!). The tape is clearly marked for easy cutting. A carefully done LED strip light installation will last for years. RGB+W-led strip lighting has a calculated lifetime of +35 000 hours when correctly installed. We are happy to help with installation and product selection.
The RGB+W-led strip light can be used for example with a VaLO-Zigbee series wireless controller and a 24V transformer, which can of course also be controlled by other Zigbee devices (Philips HUE, Conbee2 USB stick, etc..). Of course, you can also buy your own transformers if needed...
We recommend powering from both ends if the strip light is installed in a continuous length of more than 10 meters. This prevents light loss and provides an equally bright light from both ends. the LED strip should always be attached to an aluminium strip to allow excess heat to escape from the LED circuitry. This will prolong the life of the led strip light and keep the warranty valid.
The led strip light works well with 24V systems such as solar power, boats and cars. Then a separate power supply is not needed, but a control unit is of course required.
Dimming
To dim the Led strip light you can use either a traditional rotary wired dimmer or our VaLO RF series wireless dimmer. When using the rotary conventional dimmer, the transformer of the LED strip light must be TRIAC dimmable. The strips can also be controlled by DALI systems. Wireless dimming is perfect for applications where there is no wall switch for the luminaire, but the luminaire is powered by a constant current.
In the case of a smart home, a Zigbee transformer and controllers for wireless control are chosen. In Zigbee transformers, the receiver is already built-in.
With the VaLO RF wireless solution, you simply install the receiver between the LED strip light and the power supply. You can then control the strip light with wireless switches from wherever you want. The wireless switch is powered by batteries, which are easily replaceable. You can also mount the switch on the wall if you wish, but it does not need a separate power supply.
Create your own light
Why use an LED strip light only for traditional applications when you can make a light from almost anything? Create your own wall light by bending the LED strip light and the aluminium profile to the shape you want, or by attaching the LED strip light to any other heat-conducting material. Turn a mirror, table frame, trunk, table or chair into a lamp with the LED strip light. A good design is half the job. Led with or without dots?
SOLO led strip light differs from a traditional led strip light due to the super dense led chip structure. The advantage is the absence of dots and a shorter cut-off interval, compared to the more dotted KAMELEONTTI ribbon.
