Led strip light for stylish playful lighting

Led strip light with RGB+CCT in the same AND dot-free SOLO technology in the same. our led strip light has a luminous intensity of 19W (12,5W RGB + 6,5W CCT) /m and has 840 led circuits per meter!!. Our RGB+CCT devices only use RGB or CCT shade separately, so the power requirement is about 10W/m, but if you have a dedicated controller that allows you to use CCT and RGB at the same time, the power requirement is 19W/m.

The RGB led strip light is used in spaces where you want to create a changing atmosphere by changing the colours of the light, but because the strip light also has a very high quality CCT led circuit, you can illuminate the space well and see the ambient tones as they are intended. Why? Because the strip light has a colour rendering performance of CRI 98!, making it suitable for home lighting or any demanding application.

In the kitchen, for example, when installed on top of cabinets, the whole room gets even lighting and a changing atmosphere.

In living rooms / cinema rooms, the RGB+CCT-led strip light can be used to create a stylish atmosphere, for example in the chute of a drop-down sliding door or on a shelf of a sliding door. Lighting shelves and levels with RGB+CCT-led strip lighting from different directions also creates an interesting, changing look throughout the room.

In children's rooms and bedrooms, RGB-led strip lighting is also a great choice for bringing joy and life with colour, or alternatively for calm and relaxing lighting with white light.

SOLO RGB+CCT led strip light comes in 1m rolls and can be cut to size and soldered every 4.2cm. We also sell the ribbon in lengths of your choice (note the cutting spacing!). The tape is clearly marked for easy cutting. There is a 10 cm connection cable at each end of the roll (six wires, R, G, B, WW, CW, +). 5 wires are enough for RGBW controllers. We recommend soldering the connecting wires together. A carefully done LED strip light installation will last for years. The RGB+CCT-led strip light has a calculated lifetime of +35 000 hours. Led strip lighting control

The most popular is the Philips HUE with our VaLO-Zigbee series control unit, which is connected between the strip light and a separately purchased power supply. In addition, a wireless controller can be purchased.

The control unit can of course also be controlled by other Zigbee devices (Philips HUE, Samsung Smartthings, Conbee2 USB stick, etc..). Of course you can also get separate RGB and CCT transformers if needed...

Correct use of Led strip lighting

We recommend powering from both ends if the strip light is installed in a continuous length of more than 10 meters. This prevents light loss and provides an equally bright light from both ends.

The LED strip should always be attached to an aluminium strip to allow excess heat to be conducted away from the LED circuit. This will prolong the life of the LED strip light and keep the warranty valid.

Led strip light works well with 24V systems such as solar power, boats and cars. Then a separate power supply is not needed, but a control unit is of course required.

Dimming

To dim the Led strip light you can use the wireless dimmer of our VaLO RF-series. The strips can also be controlled by DALI systems. Wireless dimming is perfect for applications where there is no wall switch for the luminaire, but the luminaire is powered by a constant current.

In the case of a smart home, a Zigbee transformer and controllers for wireless control are chosen. In Zigbee transformers, the receiver is already built-in.

With the VaLO RF wireless solution, you simply install the receiver between the LED strip light and the power supply. You can then control the strip light with wireless switches from wherever you want. The wireless switch is powered by batteries, which are easily replaceable. You can also mount the switch on the wall if you wish, but it does not need a separate power supply.

Create your own lighting design

Why use led strip lighting only for traditional applications when you can make a light fixture out of almost anything? Create your own wall light by bending the LED strip light and an aluminium profile into the shape you want, or by attaching the LED strip light to another material that conducts heat well.

Led strip light with or without dots?

Led strip lights from the SOLO product family differ from traditional led strip lights due to their super-dense led chip structure. The advantage is no dots and a shorter cut-off interval, the disadvantage is a slightly lower light output per watt than the 14.4 W/m RGBW strip light and less space for soldering due to the six-wire construction.
