The Solo 7,2W/m light strip can be adjusted between 2700K and 6500K. The colour rendering index of the ribbon is 94-95 which means that the colours are well reproduced (the best colours are reproduced with 4000K white light as there is no yellowish or bluish tint involved). This led ribbon is dimmable and the colour control can be made to work by ordering a VaLO RF or Zigbee series (CCT) pushbutton and receiver (CCT) .

Product information

The Solo 7,2W/m ribbon is very uniform and efficient (795 lumens per meter) and has 640 LED circuits per meter. The width of the LED strip light is 12mm. Waterproof LED strip light, IP65.

Installation

Led strip light comes in 1m rolls and can be cut to size in 25mm increments. The strip has a 10 cm splicing cord pre-wired at both ends. The red wire is +, the white is C cold white and the yellow is W warm white. our led strip light is easy to attach with the included 3M high grip tape. The cutting points can be found on the underside of the strip light under the tape. The cutting points have copper dots, so you can solder a low-current wire to the strip light from these points to connect it to the transformer. We recommend soldering the strips together. When soldering, use a knife to remove the silicone coating that protects the strip light from the copper dots.

We recommend that for long runs (over 10m) the transformer is branched at both ends of the LED strip light to avoid a reduction of light at one end of the strip light. the led strip should always be attached to an aluminium strip to allow excess heat to escape from the led circuitry. This will prolong the life of the led strip light. Aluminium profiles can be ordered from our online shop, where we have a wide range of different profiles available.

the 10m CCT led strip light is connected to a CCT adjustable transformer (RF or Zigbee) or in larger installations to a separate control unit, and the control unit is connected to a power supply which is connected to the mains.

Led strip lighting works well with solar power, boats and cars if they use 24VDC. Then a separate power supply is not needed. In other cases, order a 24V power supply of suitable power for the strip light. The power supply does not need to be dimmable when dimming with a regulator and receiver. Alternatively, a wireless control RF or Zigbee transformer is available, where the transformer is paired directly with the wireless pushbutton.

To dim your Led strip light, you can use the wireless dimmer in our VaLO RF series. The strips can also be controlled by DALI systems. Wireless dimming is perfect for applications where there is no wall switch for the luminaire, but the luminaire is powered by a constant current.

In the case of a smart home, a Zigbee transformer and controllers for wireless control are chosen. In Zigbee transformers, the receiver is already built-in.

With the VaLO RF wireless solution, you simply install the receiver between the LED strip light and the power supply. You can then control the strip light with wireless switches from wherever you want. The wireless switch is powered by batteries, which are easily replaceable. You can also mount the switch on the wall if you wish, but it does not need a separate power supply.

Why use a CCT LED strip light only for traditional applications when you can make a light from almost anything?
