The advantages of having a spare lamp mode are the possibility of varying the mood. For active daytime, the spot can be set to a cool white light, and for evening, a fireplace or sunset lamp can be set to an orange-white light. The effect of lighting on human biological rhythms is increasingly being studied, so in addition to comfort, it can be assumed that the spotlight also has an effect on, for example, alertness.
Led spotlights are also available in a range of emergency lamp outputs (approx. 2 500K-6 500 K). The Kelvin can be selected from three options (lamb, neutral and cool white) and can also be adjusted continuously by installation or by means of a suitable control device. In addition, all our spot models include a model with a back-up lamp mode. We call them CCT or Kelvin-controllable luminaires. CCT spots are dimmable in addition to the spare lamp charge, and have a high dimming index.
Kelvin adjustable luminaires are suitable for all rooms in the home, both in awnings and dry rooms, and also for outdoors. A larger number of back-up luminaires can be easily controlled by a controller with multiple groups of luminaires from the same controller, such as this four-group controller for back-up and dimming. This makes it easy to achieve the same light output in the same spaces. CCT luminaires can also be easily controlled by a wide range of wireless and wifi or mesh-connected Android and iOS devices.
