5m LED strip SOLO, 4000K, 24V, 14,4W/m, IP20, CRI96
LED strip light SOLO 14,9W/m The LED strip light SOLO 14,9W/m provides a uniform light output of 1186 lumens per metre. The colour temperature of the strip light is neutral white 4000K.
Excellent colour rendering
The CRI is a measure of how well an LED light reproduces colours as they should be. A high CRI value indicates that the luminaire reproduces a wide range of colours. The closer you get to 100, the more naturally colours are reproduced. This LED strip light has a CRI of up to 96, which ensures excellent colour rendering.
Installation
The LED strip comes in a 5m roll and can be cut to size in increments of 2.5 cm. The strip has power cords at both ends. The red wire is +, and the black wire is -. Our LED strip is easy to attach with the 3M very strong adhesive tape included. The cutting points can be found on the underside of the strip under the tape. The cut points have copper dots, so you can solder a low current wire to the strip from these points to connect to the transformer. We recommend soldering the tapes together. When soldering, use a knife to open up the silicone coating that protects the strip at the copper points.
We recommend that for long runs (over 10m), the transformer supply is branched at both ends of the LED strip to avoid light degradation at one end of the strip. The led strip should always be attached to an aluminium strip so that excess heat is conducted away from the led circuit. This will prolong the life of the led strip. Aluminium profiles can be ordered from our online shop, where we have a wide range of different profiles available. We also offer a range of branching plugs and connecting wires.
The power supply does not need to be dimmable when dimming with a regulator and receiver. Alternatively, there is also a wireless control RF or Zigbee transformer, where the transformer pair is connected directly to the wireless pushbutton.
We are happy to help with installation and ordering questions.
When choosing a transformer, please note that the actual power of this LED strip is 14.9W/m.
Dimming
To dim the LED strip you can use either a traditional rotary wired dimmer or our VaLO RF series wireless dimmer. When using the rotary conventional dimmer, the transformer of the LED strip must be TRIAC dimmable. The strips can also be controlled by DALI systems. Wireless dimming is perfect for applications where there is no wall switch for the luminaire, but the luminaire is powered by a constant current.
In the case of a smart home, a Zigbee transformer and controllers for wireless control are chosen. In Zigbee transformers, the receiver is already built-in.
With the VaLO RF wireless solution, you simply install the receiver between the LED strip and the power supply. You can then control the strip with wireless switches from wherever you want. The wireless switch is powered by batteries, which are easily replaceable. You can also mount the switch on the wall if you wish, but it does not need a separate power supply.
Create your own light
Why use SOLO SLIM LED strip only for traditional applications when you can make a luminaire out of almost anything? The special tapered design of the strip offers new possibilities! Create your own wall light by bending the LED strip and the aluminium profile to the shape you want, or by fixing the LED strip to another highly heat conductive material. Turn a mirror, table frame, trunk, table or chair into a lamp with the LED strip. A good design is half the job. We are happy to help you with your design, and we make LED strip made to measure at LedStore's LedShop.
