The Solo 14,4W/m light strip can be adjusted between 2700K and 6500K. The light strip has a colour rendering index of 94-95 which means that colours are reproduced well (colours are best reproduced with 4000K white light, as there is no yellowish or bluish tint involved). The Solo 7.2W/m ribbon is very uniform and efficient (1584 lumens per metre) and has 608 LED circuits per metre. This LED strip light is dimmable and colour control is available by ordering a VaLO RF or Zigbee series (CCT) button and receiver (CCT).

Product information
The Solo 14,4W/m light strip is very uniform and efficient (1584 lumens per meter) and has 840 LED circuits per meter. This makes the light uniform.
Installation
The LED strip light comes in 1m rolls and can be cut to size every 50mm. The strip has clear markings to make cutting easier. We recommend soldering the strips together. Our led strip light is easy to attach with the 3M very strong adhesive tape included. The soldering points of the strip are located at the cutting marks on the underside of the strip under the tape. There are three soldering points, one + on one side of the strip and two minus on the other side, cold C and warm W.
We recommend that for long runs (over 10m) the transformer supply is branched at both ends of the LED strip light to avoid light degradation at one end of the strip light. the led strip should always be attached to an aluminium strip so that excess heat is conducted away from the led circuit. This will prolong the life of the led strip light. Aluminium profiles can be ordered from our online shop, where we have a wide range of different profiles available.
the 10m CCT led strip light is connected to a CCT adjustable transformer (RF or Zigbee) or in larger installations to a separate control unit, and the control unit is connected to a power supply which is connected to the mains.
Led strip lighting works well with solar power, boats and cars if they use 24VDC. Then a separate power supply is not needed. In other cases, order a 24V power supply of suitable power for the strip light. The power supply does not need to be dimmable when dimming with a regulator and receiver. Alternatively, a wireless control RF or Zigbee transformer is available, where the transformer is paired directly with the wireless pushbutton.

To dim your Led strip light, you can use the wireless dimmer in our VaLO RF series. The strips can also be controlled by DALI systems. Wireless dimming is perfect for applications where there is no wall switch for the luminaire, but the luminaire is powered by a constant current.
In the case of a smart home, a Zigbee transformer and controllers for wireless control are chosen. In Zigbee transformers, the receiver is already built-in.
With the VaLO RF wireless solution, you simply install the receiver between the LED strip light and the power supply. You can then control the strip light with wireless switches from wherever you want. The wireless switch is powered by batteries, which are easily replaceable. You can also mount the switch on the wall if you wish, but it does not need a separate power supply.
Create your own light
Why use a CCT LED strip light only for traditional applications when you can make a light from almost anything? Create your own wall light by bending the LED strip light and the aluminium profile to the shape you want, or by attaching the LED strip light to any other heat conducting material. Turn a mirror, table frame, trunk, table or chair into a lamp with the LED strip light. A good design is half the job. For the CCT ability to work, you need a wireless button and a receiver.
LED strip comes in a 5m roll that can be cut to measure in every 5cm. We recommend that you solder the wanted lengths together as we have noticed that the fast clips tend to loosen after few years and then the light starts flickering.
If you have more than 10m of strip, we recommend thta you to feed the power from both ends or from the centre to minimize the powerloss. All installations MUST be made on top of aluminium (ie. aluminium profile), that way the excess heat gets conducted away from led circuit and makes it last longer.
LED strip works in boats, as it is 24VDC you might not even need a driver!
Remember to order a driver (unless it is for a boat, car or with solar power of 24VDC).

RF CCT transformers
RF CCT Products that you can use when you want stepless CCT control. The luminaire is ordered without its own transformer and a group transformer is selected for CCT spotlights or CCT panels, as well as for CCT led strip lighting.
The transformer size for spots and panels is calculated by adding up the Watts + 25%.
For the CCT led strip, a 15% margin is sufficient.
CCT wire harnesses
With our wiring harnesses you can quickly and reliably install CCT spots and CCT panels directly on one transformer. All luminaires are installed in parallel on the same transformer.
The spots come standard with a 15cm connecting cable with a connector, so you can easily create your own set with these wires.
with 3m spacer cables you can put even 2 in a row. All connection points have IP54 tight draught proofing.
In the distribution boxes (3 and 6) it is not mandatory to install a lamp on each connector.
WHAT IS CRI, THE COLOUR RENDERING INDEX
High quality LED lights also have a high colour rendering index, or CRI. A good colour rendering index (CRI) for home use is above 90, and nowadays many market lights are unfortunately closer to 80.
CRI tells you how well an LED light displays colours as they should be. For designers and architects, as well as interior designers, it should be one of the most important considerations. Make sure the lighting is perfect so that your artwork is what it is meant to be.
Colour rendering index
The colour rendering index is expressed as a number on a scale from zero to 100, where 0 = no colour rendering and 100 = full colour rendering. The colour rendering index of LED lights is also known as Ra, which is measured on a smaller scale than CRI. This Ra value does not include red tones or skin tones, for example, so it is a 'glossed' figure for the true quality of an LED light.
RA value
The Ra value measures the reproduction of colours using eight different reference colours. CRI takes into account the wider (15) wavelength range, including reds and other warm colours.
The Ra value is calculated by cutting the wavelength range, weighting the blue and violet tones, and calculating the weighted average of R numbers 1-8.
Excluded from the Ra value are, for example, the colour rendering of bright reds, yellows and greens, and shades close to skin tone. These are described by R-values between 9 and 15. The following is a picture of a measurement result that easily confuses the consumer.
