1-10V drivers

General

0/1-10V dimmable transformers are available mainly for 24V dimmable luminaires and LED strips and are also mostly 4-in-1, i.e. dimmable with other, more flexible systems.

0/1-10V transformers (analogue arrangement) are used less often nowadays, because dimming wiring requires more wires and e.g. the whole home would become boring with this type of transformer, without programmable output possibilities. The transformer and its transmitter have been used mainly for dimming fluorescent lamps.

Technology

0/1-10V LED drivers operate with a simple junction control, where changing the control junction affects the intensity of the LED light. With a control voltage of 1 volt, the LED light is 10% brighter, while a 10 volt control voltage gives the same brightness. 1-10V LED transformers are compatible with a wide range of dimmer switches and are extremely durable and reliable.

0/1-10V LED dimmers are an all-round alternative to traditional dimming systems, plus they provide precise and smooth dimming, which is useful in situations where ambient lighting is required, such as cinemas or art installations.
