Chainability is particularly useful when installing a large number of luminaires in the same space, as it speeds up installation and reduces installation costs. All our chainable luminaires, spotlights and small panel and ceiling luminaires have their own chainable power supply. The quick connector facilitates installation in the next luminaire. For chainable luminaires, the quick connectors have been developed to open without a screwdriver. This adds luxury to the installation.
The chaining of luminaires with their own power supply makes the luminaires work in parallel, so that if one lamp fails or goes out, all the lights are not switched off and the others continue to burn without interruption.by way of comparison, the smallest sets of spotlights are, as the name suggests, daisy-chained and share a common power supply. It is not possible to disconnect a luminaire from the series, as this would break the whole series if the power is on at the same time. Some series of luminaires can be daisy-chained.
