Information

With a light output of 7,2/m, the strip is 500 lumens per meter on paper, i.e. big light output for normal Sauna with Pine or tar alder, neutral light colour wil make sauna more cooler. So more lighter sauna colour schemes will get alot of light. Power output for this set is quite alot, so more recommended to darker saunas, because the is no dimmer included.

The base color of the strip is white, but you can't see it, because it is always installed on the included aluminum profile, and the special 3M tape on the led strip guarantees a good attachment to the profile. The IP65 LED strip is 3mm thick, so it's very slim. With this set, you get even, spot-free light everywhere. The LED circuit is COB LED, a newer model with a color rendering index (CRI) of over 95!

Then the more boring thing, i.e. corners and joints. Led strip only has 50cm wires on both ends as a standard, so by cutting it at the cutmark (every 5cm), you get two tapes with ready wires. If you want more strips, you have to solder new wires to the copper points. Led strip uses three (2) pole wires. Positive and negative. The profile is IP44 from the bottom, splashproof and IP65 from the top. So its something you can install sauna bench or behind backrest, without any worries. This way you get great, no dots, light to sauna. Aluminum is also easy to cut with metal saw or a jigsaw with a wood or metal blade.

The included transformer is  waterproof, so you can install it just like that under sauna seats. The transformer has just bare 20cm cables on both ends, which means driver is connected inside electric box. Driver can use suckket if you add it to wire. Product description

Of course, you can install this Sauna light set to other places, such as Terraces. Only your imagination is the limit.

Installation

The strip should be glued to a metal, such as an aluminum profile (included), so that the heat can be conducted away from the LED circuit. Proper cooling extends the life of the LED. The led strip does not bend sideways. Also Sauna has lots of heat an moisture, so led strip itself woud not hold moist wood.

Best location of light in sauna?

Most common installation locations are behind backrest or under seat.

If you only install to one location, install it under seat, because it works also as cleaning light under seats.

Led profiles in sauna

Surface IP65 is always best option, if you install it upwards behind seat, or closer to heater unit

Basic Black and brushed profile are great option for behid back rest or under seat. They are IP65 from behind and IP44 for cover

45 degree corner model is usually for under seat, at back corner OR in front of seat, pointing back wall.

Sauna light installation:

1. Measure the installation location
2. Cut the profiles (circular or metal saw) and led strips to the right size (every 5 cm from the cutting point)
3. Glue the led strips to the profile on the table before attaching the profiles and put the covers in place by pressing.
4. Screw the profile brackets to the bottom of the bench. 4-5 pieces / 2.5m and click the profiles in place.
5. Take the wires from the led strip to the transformer (wire drill hole is 7mm) and connect to the screw terminals.
6. Skrew driver to wall under sauna seats and connect all wires.

This BASIC led light sauna set is suitable for light set is suitable for clear, straight places and for people who are not afraid of installation and crafts.
