UPPOAVA panel 600 3000K, 36W led is a multifunctional luminaire for indoor and outdoor use in the home. Suitable for bathrooms, terraces and kitchens. The luminaire is dimmable and moisture-proof and comes with a 5-year warranty.
Led technology
It doesn't matter what kind of light a luminaire produces. For the home, it is recommended to choose a light with a colour rendering index of at least more than 80 CRI, so that the lighting looks natural to the eye. UPPOAVA -led panels always have a CRI above 95. The luminaire is 3000K (warm white), also available in 4000K (neutral white).
The UPPOAVA -led panel uses an edge diffuser, so the light comes in softly without spottiness and the matte acrylic diffuses the light evenly for a pleasantly even glow. The UPPOAVA panel 600 3000K, 36W led is equivalent in light output to 250W halogen, which is 3000 lumens.
NOTE! The old CRI 85 model has a grooved bezel while the new CRI 95 model has a smooth bezel.

Installation
The luminaire is recessed in the ceiling, surface-mounted or suspended by wires. When recessed, the mounting hole should be 580x580mm. The luminaire itself is 595x595x22mm and the separate power supply is 195x45x33mm. The power supply fits inside the surface mount frame. The power supply can be extended up to a maximum of five metres.
The luminaire will fit into a typical ceiling structure with only 48x48mm insulation and 13mm plasterboard under the vapour barrier. If the vapour barrier is installed loosely, we recommend installing a board or plasterboard above the luminaire to prevent the insulation from sagging. The LED will not reach high temperatures, so no fire protection is required. However, it is not recommended to mount the LED luminaire on any material and an air space of e.g. 1-2 cm can be left.
A surface mounting frame is available for the luminaire which is 50mm high. The transformer fits inside the frame.
Dimming
The UPPOAVA -led panel comes with a dimmable power supply with a quick connector for easy installation of the luminaire and the power supply. UPPOAVA -led panels are dimmable with TRIAC dimmers on the ENSIO side. Suitable dimmers include Schneider's EXXCT and ABB's Jussi. More detailed information, such as maximum load, is given with the dimmers. The UPPOAVA -led panel is suitable for use with home automation systems such as KNX and Talomatti.

Basic UPPOAVA LED PANEL 600 is a recessed light. Installation hole should be 580x580mm. Driver size is 195x45x33mm and it can be placed maximum of 5m from the light. The driver comes with every PANEL 600 light. LED PANEL is 13mm thick, so it fits to most of the CEiling structures (basic plaster board is similar in thickness). We recommend that you install a plaster board on top of the PANEL if the steam lock has been installed loosely. The LED PANEL needs 10-20mm air space on top of the light.You don't need any protection cups etc. when using led lights as the temperature of the light never exeeds 80 celsius.
If you need surface mounted light, you just order a frame with this light. The driver fits inside the frame. It's also possible to order the light as a suspended model with cable length of approx. 1,5m.
The reason we have desided to have the driver separatre from the body is that this way the driver does not add up to the lights heath load and this makes the light last longer. The driver is included and has a quick connector for easy installation.
UPPOAVA LED PANEL 600 can be used with house automatics (ie. KNX and Talomatti).
Surface mounting frame is available for this product. Frame is 50mm in height and fits the driver inside.

WHAT IS CRI, THE COLOUR RENDERING INDEX
High quality LED lights also have a high colour rendering index, or CRI. A good colour rendering index (CRI) for home use is above 90, and nowadays many market lights are unfortunately closer to 80.
CRI tells you how well an LED light displays colours as they should be. For designers and architects, as well as interior designers, it should be one of the most important considerations. Make sure the lighting is perfect so that your artwork is what it is meant to be.
Colour rendering index
The colour rendering index is expressed as a number on a scale from zero to 100, where 0 = no colour rendering and 100 = full colour rendering. The colour rendering index of LED lights is also known as Ra, which is measured on a smaller scale than CRI. This Ra value does not include red tones or skin tones, for example, so it is a 'glossed' figure for the true quality of an LED light.
RA value
The Ra value measures the reproduction of colours using eight different reference colours. CRI takes into account the wider (15) wavelength range, including reds and other warm colours.
The Ra value is calculated by cutting the wavelength range, weighting the blue and violet tones, and calculating the weighted average of R numbers 1-8.
Excluded from the Ra value are, for example, the colour rendering of bright reds, yellows and greens, and shades close to skin tone. These are described by R-values between 9 and 15. The following is a picture of a measurement result that easily confuses the consumer.
