LED strip light set for installation in the kitchen, for example on a plinth or on top of a cupboard. This 7,2 W/m LED strip is also ideal for use on stairs and handrails, as well as outdoor outdoor railings and eaves. With the wireless dimmer, you can conveniently control lights that only receive electricity from the wall, but don't have their own wall switch (perfect for a patio, for example). You can connect multiple buttons or even a remote control to the same transformer.

LED strip light kit includes 5 meters of 7.2W/m LED strip (either 3000K warm or 4000K neutral white), matching wireless control power supply, VaLO series wireless push button (button can be placed on the wall or kept detached). The buttons are available in either a rotary or push-button dimmer version and the transformer is an RF transformer suitable for wireless dimming. The system is dimmable, making it easy to set the mood. This set also includes two surface-mounted aluminium profiles (2.5m length per profile). The profiles come with mounting brackets, a plastic cover and two ends per profile). You can choose between a straight opening or 45 degree angle profile.

Led HELMEILE 7,2W/m strip light specifications

The 7,2/m strip has a luminous intensity of 500 lumens per metre, which means that you get plenty of light, but for precise work or efficient task lighting you should choose an even more powerful strip, e.g. 14,4 W/m or 17 W/m. A special tape on the strip ensures good fixation. The LED strip is coated with a thin, non-yellowing silicone coating and is only 1.8 mm thick, which is very low.

The strip is silicone protected with a non-fading surface, IP65 waterproof, suitable for damp areas and outdoor use. However, remember to protect the joints and place the transformer in a dry room or in a moisture-proof box! The distance between the transformer and the wireless dimmer switch can be up to 30 metres, which means you can safely control, for example, outdoor wall lighting with an indoor switch.

Installation tips

The strip should be fixed to a metallic surface, such as the aluminium profile that comes with this kit, to allow heat to be conducted away from the LED strip. Proper cooling extends the life of the LED, and protects the strip from dust and dirt. Attach to a clean base. Before fixing to the aluminium, check that the LED strip works. However, do not leave the strip burning on the roll, as it will heat up quickly while on the roll and melt the adhesive surface! If necessary, the silicone-protected strip can be wiped clean with a rag and a diluted washing solution if the plastic cover is not fitted.

With this LED set you can, for example, cast indirect light on top of a cabinet (2x2,5m) or on a plinth or under a cabinet. For example, if you run two 2.5m strips to the same transformer, the dc plug ends must be disconnected and connected as wires. We can also supply two-core low-current installation cable in metre lengths for installation.

The transformer has no wires, so for mains connection you can also choose a 5 metre mains power cable for your set, which we will pre-fix to the transformer. If you want a shorter wire, please add the desired length in the message field of the order form, or send us an email at myynti@ledstore.fi

When the transformer is powered, the dimmer is paired with the transformer by pressing the transformer learning key once and the button once. Instructions for connecting the VaLO dimmer are included in the package.
