LED LUMINAIRE R023W CCT (matt white, glossy white) is dimmable and moisture-proof (IP54), also from behind. As LED circuit we use high quality LED circuits with a colour rendering index (CRI) of 98 (full spectrum!) and the colours are reproduced as they should be. In the luminaire, the light comes beautifully from a single point. This luminaire is a popular 'hotel' model, where the light comes from a beautifully recessed recess, so from the side the light is glare-free.
The LED PYREREE R023W is suitable for general lighting from private homes to public spaces. In terms of luminous intensity, LED PYREREÄ R023W CCT is equivalent to at least 50W halogen, +600 lumens. The luminaire has an extra lens for light equalisation, which when removed, gives 750 lumens.
The luminaire is also available in black and anodised aluminium, and in a higher wattage of 15W.
The luminaire has an adjustable light temperature of 2900-4000-5300K with a power supply switch, so you can choose the colour to suit your interior when installing. The light switch can also be used at a later date, for example if the purpose of the room or the colours change so that you want to change the colour temperature of the light. In this case, the light is pulled out of the mounting hole and the transformer allows you to select a new light colour.
If you want to adjust the colour temperature of the light at any time in everyday use, you need a group transformer and controllers suitable for CCT luminaires (e.g. max. 8 for a group of luminaires):
- VaLO RF: VaLO RF 100W transformer and VaLO RF CCT wireless push-button
- VaLO Zigbee: VaLO Zigbee 100W transformer and VaLO Zigbee CCT wireless button
- Wireless control: 100W 24V transformer and embeddable pushbutton in the box
Please note that for group control, the Valasim's own transformer will be omitted, and replaced by a larger group transformer. As the power requirement decreases, the transformer will be increased by 25%, so for example 6x9W CCT spots will need a minimum of 68W transformer. The transformer can always be much larger. All CCT adjustable 9W downlights operate at 350mA.
The luminaire is IP54, meaning that the luminaire is waterproof, even from behind. The transformer of the luminaire is not splash-proof, but can withstand outdoor use in eaves.
The LED DOWNLOAD R023W is a flush mount luminaire in cast aluminium with the LED circuitry mounted directly on the body. The solution achieves maximum thermal conductivity and safe operating temperature (below 50 degrees Celsius). The low operating temperature and the high quality LED circuit guarantees a long lifetime of 50,000h and we grant a 7 year warranty on our manufactured luminaire!
The LED module of the luminaire is removable and replaceable.

Installation
The luminaire has a solid body and is very low, only 50mm high! The luminaire will therefore fit into a typical roof structure with only 48x48mm of insulation and 13mm plasterboard under the vapour barrier. We recommend installing a piece of board or plasterboard above the luminaire to prevent the insulation from sagging. Mounting hole diameter 76-80mm.
Each luminaire is supplied with its own chained power supply which fits through the mounting hole into the mounting space. By moving the power supply away from the luminaire, we prevent the power supply from heating up the luminaire, and we can keep the size of the luminaire small. The power supplies are long-lived and this also allows us to avoid the typical problem with halogen lamps, where one power supply is subjected to a heavy load and gets hot, and breaks the luminaire. There is a quick connector between the luminaire and the power supply for easy installation. The light colour change is done by the switch on the power supply, CW 5300K, DW 4000K, WW 2700K. By default, the luminaire's light colour is DW 4000K. The power must be switched off before changing the colour, otherwise the luminaire will break.
Dimming
The luminaire can be dimmed with a wireless dimmer or TRIAC dimmers, from the ENSIO side and they also work with home automation such as KNX. Suitable dimmers can also be ordered from us, "Led dimmers".

Led ROUND R023 CCT (White) is very low, only 50mm in height. Fits to typical ceiling structure where there is 48x48 ceiling frame and 13mm plaster board. We recommend you to install a piece of plaster board on top of the light to stop the insulation from pressing on to the light. Installation hole is 75-80mm in diameter.
All led spots come with driver that fits in from the installation hole. By having a separate driver, we have reduced the temperature of the light, making it last longer. There is a quick connector on the cord between the lamp and the driver to make installation easy. Driver has chaining ability (2 inputs) and quick connectors
This light has adjustable white colour temperature with 3 steps: 2700-4000-5300K. Always turn power off before changing colour, otherwise you will damage light.

CCT wire harnesses
With our wiring harnesses you can quickly and reliably install CCT spots and CCT panels directly on one transformer. All luminaires are installed in parallel on the same transformer.
The spots come standard with a 15cm connecting cable with a connector, so you can easily create your own set with these wires.
with 3m spacer cables you can put even 2 in a row. All connection points have IP54 tight draught proofing.
In the distribution boxes (3 and 6) it is not mandatory to install a lamp on each connector.
WHAT IS CRI, THE COLOUR RENDERING INDEX
High quality LED lights also have a high colour rendering index, or CRI. A good colour rendering index (CRI) for home use is above 90, and nowadays many market lights are unfortunately closer to 80.
CRI tells you how well an LED light displays colours as they should be. For designers and architects, as well as interior designers, it should be one of the most important considerations. Make sure the lighting is perfect so that your artwork is what it is meant to be.
Colour rendering index
The colour rendering index is expressed as a number on a scale from zero to 100, where 0 = no colour rendering and 100 = full colour rendering. The colour rendering index of LED lights is also known as Ra, which is measured on a smaller scale than CRI. This Ra value does not include red tones or skin tones, for example, so it is a 'glossed' figure for the true quality of an LED light.
RA value
The Ra value measures the reproduction of colours using eight different reference colours. CRI takes into account the wider (15) wavelength range, including reds and other warm colours.
The Ra value is calculated by cutting the wavelength range, weighting the blue and violet tones, and calculating the weighted average of R numbers 1-8.
Excluded from the Ra value are, for example, the colour rendering of bright reds, yellows and greens, and shades close to skin tone. These are described by R-values between 9 and 15. The following is a picture of a measurement result that easily confuses the consumer.

TWO INSTALLATION METHODS
Basic:
Standard, where the luminaire comes with a transformer with a 3-position switch. The switch allows you to select a light temperature of 2900K/4000/5500K at the installation stage. The luminaire is TRIAC dimmable. The Led luminaires can be installed in chains.
Customizable:
Freely selectable from 2900-5500K. Selection is done by the desired lighting control system such as ZIgbee, DALI2, Z-Wave, etc. All lights are 24VDC parallel connected. Easy to add/remove Led lights. That is, the luminaire is purchased "Without its own transformer" and the luminaires are connected in parallel to one group transformer. This way all the luminaires behind the transformer are controlled by one single group and the CCT colour temperature of the luminaires can be freely adjusted and dimmed.
ACCESSORIES FOR THE PRODUCT FAMILY
The CCT product family also includes a complete IP54, pull-protected cabling kit with a 3 metre intermediate cable, and a choice of 3-piece or 6-piece splitter.
You can also use your own 3 pole cable for installation.
WHAT IS A COLOUR TEMPERATURE ADJUSTABLE LUMINAIRE?
A CCT-led light is a luminaire that allows you to change the colour temperature of white light. The range depends on the led luminaire, but can be as low as 2500K - 6500K.
The changes in colour temperature, which are clearly visible to the eye, range from yellowish light to bluish light. A temperature-controlled LED light changes the hue of the light so that the luminaire itself always has two LED circuits in parallel; cold and warm.
When the mixing ratio of the two is changed with a control, the colour temperature of the light changes. In addition to the possibility of changing the colour temperature of the light, the luminaires are dimmable.
Different materials and colours react differently to different light spectrums. It is very important to find the right colour temperature to suit your needs.
