LED FLEXIBLE PLATE 223 (black) 18W luminaire is dimmable and moisture-proof (IP54), also from behind. This is a more efficient version of our recommended luminaire for demanding applications due to the double light source. We use high quality LED circuits with a colour rendering index (CRI) of 98 (full spectrum!) and the colours are reproduced as they should be. The luminaire has a beautiful single point of light and is a "hotel style" recessed light that does not glare... The luminaire is also available in brushed silver and white.
The LED KINTEÄ FLOOR LAMP 223 is suitable for general lighting applications from private homes to public spaces. In terms of luminous intensity, the KINITE LED TUPLAKANT 223 is equivalent to at least 2x50W halogen, 2x600 Lumen. The luminaire has an extra lens for light equalisation, which, when removed, provides 2x750 Lumen.
The luminaire has an adjustable light temperature of 2700-4000-5300K with a switch, so you can choose the right colour for your interior. Even change according to the seasons! If you want to adjust the light wirelessly without a ladder, you need a VaLO transformer and a wireless button.
The luminaire is IP44 protected against splashing water, even from the back. The transformer of the luminaire is not splash-proof, but can withstand outdoor eaves.
LED Flush Mount 223 is a flush mount luminaire in cast aluminium with the LED circuitry mounted directly on the body. The solution achieves maximum thermal conductivity and safe operating temperature (below 50 degrees Celsius). The low operating temperature and the high quality LED circuit guarantees a long lifetime of 50,000h and we grant a 7 year warranty on our manufactured luminaire!
The LED module of the luminaire is removable and replaceable.

Installation
The luminaire has a solid body. The luminaire is very low, only 50mm high! The luminaire will therefore fit into a typical roof structure with only 48x48mm of insulation and 13mm plasterboard under the vapour barrier. We recommend installing a piece of board or plasterboard above the luminaire to prevent the insulation from sagging. The mounting hole is an ellipse, 2x76mm holes are drilled 1cm apart and any excess pieces are removed between the holes.
Each luminaire is supplied with its own chained power supply which fits through the mounting hole into the mounting space. By moving the power supply away from the luminaire, we prevent the power supply from heating up the luminaire, and we can keep the size of the luminaire small. The power supplies are long-lived and this also allows us to avoid the typical problem with halogen lamps, where one power supply is subjected to a heavy load and gets hot, and breaks the luminaire. There is a quick connector between the luminaire and the power supply to facilitate installation. The light colour is changed by a switch on the power supply, but only when the light is off.
Dimming
The luminaire can be dimmed with a wireless dimmer or TRIAC dimmers, from the ENSIO side, and they also work with home automation such as KNX or free@home. You can also order suitable dimmers from us, "Led dimmers"

CCT wire harnesses
With our wiring harnesses you can quickly and reliably install CCT spots and CCT panels directly on one transformer. All luminaires are installed in parallel on the same transformer.
The spots come standard with a 15cm connecting cable with a connector, so you can easily create your own set with these wires.
with 3m spacer cables you can put even 2 in a row. All connection points have IP54 tight draught proofing.
In the distribution boxes (3 and 6) it is not mandatory to install a lamp on each connector.
WHAT IS CRI, THE COLOUR RENDERING INDEX
High quality LED lights also have a high colour rendering index, or CRI. A good colour rendering index (CRI) for home use is above 90, and nowadays many market lights are unfortunately closer to 80.
CRI tells you how well an LED light displays colours as they should be. For designers and architects, as well as interior designers, it should be one of the most important considerations. Make sure the lighting is perfect so that your artwork is what it is meant to be.
Colour rendering index
The colour rendering index is expressed as a number on a scale from zero to 100, where 0 = no colour rendering and 100 = full colour rendering. The colour rendering index of LED lights is also known as Ra, which is measured on a smaller scale than CRI. This Ra value does not include red tones or skin tones, for example, so it is a 'glossed' figure for the true quality of an LED light.
RA value
The Ra value measures the reproduction of colours using eight different reference colours. CRI takes into account the wider (15) wavelength range, including reds and other warm colours.
The Ra value is calculated by cutting the wavelength range, weighting the blue and violet tones, and calculating the weighted average of R numbers 1-8.
Excluded from the Ra value are, for example, the colour rendering of bright reds, yellows and greens, and shades close to skin tone. These are described by R-values between 9 and 15. The following is a picture of a measurement result that easily confuses the consumer.

Janne Halttu has been developing his own product family since the beginning of the company. Throughout the product development process, his own experience in building houses and installing lighting has been at the top of the list of requirements. The requirement list for CCT spotlights with colour temperature control included the following features:

- Modular body - The luminaire's heat sink is a standard size spiral LED module which is interchangeable. We always use the same LED module in as many products as possible to make it environmentally friendly.
- Sustainability - The components of the luminaires must be able to be bought later.

WHAT IS THE REAL INNOVATION HERE?
There have been CCT lights on the market for a few years now, but all of them have used only pre-fixed switches, with a CRI of around 80. These products have also often been made of plastic, or thin sheet metal, with poor colour rendering. It's okay for customers to be free to choose the shade of light during installation, but why stop there?

TWO INSTALLATION METHODS
Basic:
Standard, where the luminaire comes with a transformer with a 3-position switch. The switch allows you to select a light temperature of 2900K/4000/5500K at the installation stage. The luminaire is TRIAC dimmable. The Led luminaires can be installed in chains.
Customizable:
Freely selectable from 2900-5500K. Selection is done by the desired lighting control system such as ZIgbee, DALI2, Z-Wave, etc. All lights are 24VDC parallel connected. Easy to add/remove Led lights. That is, the luminaire is purchased "Without its own transformer" and the luminaires are connected in parallel to one group transformer. This way all the luminaires behind the transformer are controlled by one single group and the CCT colour temperature of the luminaires can be freely adjusted and dimmed.
ACCESSORIES FOR THE PRODUCT FAMILY
The CCT product family also includes a complete IP54, pull-protected cabling kit with a 3 metre intermediate cable, and a choice of 3-piece or 6-piece splitter.
You can also use your own 3 pole cable for installation.
WHAT IS A COLOUR TEMPERATURE ADJUSTABLE LUMINAIRE?
A CCT-led light is a luminaire that allows you to change the colour temperature of white light. The range depends on the led luminaire, but can be as low as 2500K - 6500K.
The changes in colour temperature, which are clearly visible to the eye, range from yellowish light to bluish light. A temperature-controlled LED light changes the hue of the light so that the luminaire itself always has two LED circuits in parallel; cold and warm.
When the mixing ratio of the two is changed with a control, the colour temperature of the light changes. In addition to the possibility of changing the colour temperature of the light, the luminaires are dimmable.
Different materials and colours react differently to different light spectrums. It is very important to find the right colour temperature to suit your needs.
