  • Product description

When you don't want to compromise on quality or ecology, but want to save money at the point of purchase, BUDGET is your choice.

    Save electricity and the environment

BUDJETTI 8W is the equivalent of a 50W halogen. That means more light with less energy. This is reflected in your electricity bill. In addition, LEDs have a long lifetime (up to 50,000) and low energy consumption.

    BUDJETTI features

BUDJETTI is equipped with a lens where instead of three points, the light comes centrally from one point. As a led circuit we use a COB led circuit. The colour rendering index (CRI) is 80, which is suitable for home use. The light tones available are equivalent to traditional halogen at 3000K, with the more modern tint being 4000K. For better colour rendering, check out our GREEN 033S model. BUDJETTI is also available in a white version.

The separate power supply that comes with each luminaire has made it possible to reduce the dimensions of the luminaire and prevents the power supply from heating the luminaire itself, thus extending the life of the luminaire.

    BUDJET dimming

LEDStore's BUDJETTI BJ33 is equipped with a dimming power supply. It is always included in the delivery. The power supply has a quick connector between the lamp and the power supply for easy installation. For dimming, an additional dimmer is required in place of the standard circuit breaker. Compatible dimmers include ABB Jussi and Schneider EXXACT. The dimmer is also compatible with home automation systems such as KNX and Talomatti.

    Installation

Mounting hole round 70mm. Thanks to the low temperature, the installation can be carried out against wood or plaster. The luminaire is very low, only 45mm high (approx. 55mm when oriented) and the external diameter of the luminaire is 85mm. The Led luminaire can therefore fit into a typical roof structure with only 48x48mm of coloured board and 13mm plasterboard under the vapour barrier. We recommend installing a piece of board or plasterboard above the luminaire to prevent the insulation from sagging. The included power supply has a quick connector to facilitate installation.

All our luminaires are CE and RoHS approved and safe.

    Warranty

BUDJETTI luminaire comes with a 5-year warranty and the separate power supply comes with a 3-year warranty. The estimated lifetime is 50,000 hours.

WHAT IS CRI, THE COLOUR RENDERING INDEX

High quality LED lights also have a high colour rendering index, or CRI. A good colour rendering index (CRI) for home use is above 90, and nowadays many market lights are unfortunately closer to 80.

CRI tells you how well an LED light displays colours as they should be. For designers and architects, as well as interior designers, it should be one of the most important considerations. Make sure the lighting is perfect so that your artwork is what it is meant to be.

Mikä on CRI, eli Värintoisto indeksi

Colour rendering index

The colour rendering index is expressed as a number on a scale from zero to 100, where 0 = no colour rendering and 100 = full colour rendering. The colour rendering index of LED lights is also known as Ra, which is measured on a smaller scale than CRI. This Ra value does not include red tones or skin tones, for example, so it is a 'glossed' figure for the true quality of an LED light.

RA value

The Ra value measures the reproduction of colours using eight different reference colours. CRI takes into account the wider (15) wavelength range, including reds and other warm colours.

The Ra value is calculated by cutting the wavelength range, weighting the blue and violet tones, and calculating the weighted average of R numbers 1-8.

Excluded from the Ra value are, for example, the colour rendering of bright reds, yellows and greens, and shades close to skin tone. These are described by R-values between 9 and 15. The following is a picture of a measurement result that easily confuses the consumer.
