The colour rendering index of the strip is 94-97 which means that the colours are well reproduced (the best colours are reproduced with 4000K white light because there is no yellowish or bluish tint involved). The Solo 30W/m ribbon is very flat and efficient, 2600 lumens/m and has 840 LED circuits per meter. This led strip is dimmable and the colour control can be operated by ordering a VaLO RF or Zigbee series (CCT) pushbutton and receiver (CCT) or a DALI system transformer.

    CCT SOLO 30 W/m led strip is very flat and efficient (2600 lumens per meter) and has 840 led circuits per meter. This makes the light uniform. If you statically switch only one colour of the ribbon (with a basic transformer), the power consumption is 30W/m, but with CCT adjustable transformers the power consumption is 20W/m!

    Installation

    The LED strip comes in 5m rolls and can be cut to size in 50mm increments. The tape is clearly marked for easy cutting. We recommend soldering the strips together. Our LED strip is easy to attach with the 3M high adhesive tape included. The soldering points of the tape are located at the cut marks on the underside of the tape underneath the tape. There are three solder points, one + on one edge of the strip and two minuses on the other edge, cold C and warm W.

    We recommend that for long runs (over 10m) the transformer supply is branched at both ends of the LED strip to avoid a reduction of light at one end of the strip. The led strip should always be attached to an aluminium strip so that excess heat is conducted away from the led circuit. This will prolong the life of the led strip. Aluminium profiles can be ordered from our online shop, where we have a wide range of different profiles available.

    The CCT led strip is connected to a CCT adjustable transformer (RF or Zigbee) or, in larger installations, to a separate control unit, and the control unit is connected to a power supply which is connected to the mains.

    The LED strip works well with solar power, boats and cars if they use 24VDC. Then a separate power supply is not needed. In other cases, order a 24V power supply of suitable power for the strip. The power supply does not need to be dimmable when dimming with a regulator and receiver. Alternatively, a wireless control RF or Zigbee transformer is available, where the transformer is paired directly with the wireless button.

    To dim the LED strip, you can use the wireless dimmer of our VaLO RF series. The strips can also be controlled by DALI systems. Wireless dimming is perfect for applications where there is no wall switch for the luminaire, but the luminaire is powered by a constant current.

    In the case of a smart home, a Zigbee transformer and controllers for wireless control are chosen. In Zigbee transformers, the receiver is already built-in.

    With the VaLO RF wireless solution, you simply install the receiver between the LED strip and the power supply. You can then control the strip with wireless switches from wherever you want. The wireless switch is powered by batteries, which are easily replaceable. You can also mount the switch on the wall if you wish, but it does not need a separate power supply.

    Create your own light

    Why use CCT LED strip only for traditional applications when you can make a luminaire out of almost anything? Create your own wall light by bending the LED strip and the aluminium profile to the shape you want, or by fixing the LED strip to another heat-conducting material. Turn a mirror, table frame, trunk, table or chair into a lamp with the LED strip. A good design is half the job.
