The Solo 3,6W/m light strip can be adjusted between 2700K and 6500K. The colour rendering index of the strip is 94-95 which means that colours are reproduced well (colours are best reproduced with 4000K white light, as there is no yellowish or bluish tint involved). The Solo 3.6W/m ribbon is very flat and efficient, 350 lumens/m and has 360 LED circuits per metre. This LED strip is dimmable and the colour control can be activated by ordering a VaLO RF or Zigbee (CCT) pushbutton and receiver (CCT).
This is our lowest power led strip and is recommended for use in Saunas, Stairs and Staircases. In other words, places where only ambient light is sufficient.

The Solo 3,6W/m light strip can be adjusted between 2700K and 6500K. This led ribbon is dimmable and the colour control can be made to work by ordering a VaLO RF or Zigbee series (CCT) pushbutton and receiver (CCT) .
This is our lowest wattage led strip and its recommended applications are Saunas, Staircases and Staircases. In other words, places where only ambient light is sufficient. As this is also a waterproof Led strip IP65, you can also use it outdoors.

Product information
The Solo 3,6W/m ribbon is a very flat and efficient 350 lumens/m with 360 LED circuits per meter. This makes the light uniform. The width of the led strip is 12mm which provides a really good soldering space for the spacers and a gripping surface, as well as heat dissipation.
Installation
The LED strip comes in 5m rolls and can be cut to size up to 50mm apart. The strip comes with 10cm of splicing wire pre-wired at both ends. Red wire is +, white is C cold white and yellow is W warm white. Our Led strip is easy to attach with the included 3M high adhesive tape. The cut points can be found on the underside of the strip under the tape. The cutting points have copper dots, so you can solder a low-current wire to the strip from these points to connect to the transformer. We recommend soldering the tapes together. When soldering, use a knife to remove the silicone coating that protects the strip at the copper points.
We recommend that for long runs (over 10m) the transformer supply is branched at both ends of the LED strip to avoid light degradation at one end of the strip. The led strip should always be attached to an aluminium strip so that excess heat is conducted away from the led circuit. This will prolong the life of the led strip. Aluminium profiles can be ordered from our online shop, where we have a wide range of different profiles available.
The CCT led strip is connected to a CCT adjustable transformer (RF or Zigbee) or, in larger installations, to a separate control unit, and the control unit is connected to a power supply which is connected to the mains.
The LED strip works well with solar power, boats and cars if they use 24VDC. Then a separate power supply is not needed. In other cases, order a 24V power supply of suitable power for the strip. The power supply does not need to be dimmable when dimming with a regulator and receiver. Alternatively, a wireless control RF or Zigbee transformer is available, where the transformer is paired directly with the wireless button.

To dim the LED strip, you can use the wireless dimmer of our VaLO RF series. The strips can also be controlled by DALI systems. Wireless dimming is perfect for applications where there is no wall switch for the luminaire, but the luminaire is powered by a constant current.
In the case of a smart home, a Zigbee transformer and controllers for wireless control are chosen. In Zigbee transformers, the receiver is already built-in.
With the VaLO RF wireless solution, you simply install the receiver between the LED strip and the power supply. You can then control the strip with wireless switches from wherever you want. The wireless switch is powered by batteries, which are easily replaceable. You can also mount the switch on the wall if you wish, but it does not need a separate power supply.
Create your own light
Why use CCT LED strip only for traditional applications when you can make a luminaire out of almost anything? Create your own wall light by bending the LED strip and the aluminium profile to the shape you want, or by fixing the LED strip to another heat-conducting material. Turn a mirror, table frame, trunk, table or chair into a lamp with the LED strip. A good design is half the job. For the CCT ability to work, you need a wireless button and a receiver.
LED strip comes in a 5m roll that can be cut to measure in every 5cm. We recommend that you solder the wanted lengths together as we have noticed that the fast clips tend to loosen after few years and then the light starts flickering.
If you have more than 10m of strip, we recommend thta you to feed the power from both ends or from the centre to minimize the powerloss. All installations MUST be made on top of aluminium (ie. aluminium profile), that way the excess heat gets conducted away from led circuit and makes it last longer.
LED strip works in boats, as it is 24VDC you might not even need a driver!
Remember to order a driver (unless it is for a boat, car or with solar power of 24VDC).

CCT wire harnesses
With our wiring harnesses you can quickly and reliably install CCT spots and CCT panels directly on one transformer. All luminaires are installed in parallel on the same transformer.
The spots come standard with a 15cm connecting cable with a connector, so you can easily create your own set with these wires.
with 3m spacer cables you can put even 2 in a row. All connection points have IP54 tight draught proofing.
In the distribution boxes (3 and 6) it is not mandatory to install a lamp on each connector.
WHAT IS CRI, THE COLOUR RENDERING INDEX
High quality LED lights also have a high colour rendering index, or CRI. A good colour rendering index (CRI) for home use is above 90, and nowadays many market lights are unfortunately closer to 80.
CRI tells you how well an LED light displays colours as they should be. For designers and architects, as well as interior designers, it should be one of the most important considerations. Make sure the lighting is perfect so that your artwork is what it is meant to be.
Colour rendering index
The colour rendering index is expressed as a number on a scale from zero to 100, where 0 = no colour rendering and 100 = full colour rendering. The colour rendering index of LED lights is also known as Ra, which is measured on a smaller scale than CRI. This Ra value does not include red tones or skin tones, for example, so it is a 'glossed' figure for the true quality of an LED light.
RA value
The Ra value measures the reproduction of colours using eight different reference colours. CRI takes into account the wider (15) wavelength range, including reds and other warm colours.
The Ra value is calculated by cutting the wavelength range, weighting the blue and violet tones, and calculating the weighted average of R numbers 1-8.
Excluded from the Ra value are, for example, the colour rendering of bright reds, yellows and greens, and shades close to skin tone. These are described by R-values between 9 and 15. The following is a picture of a measurement result that easily confuses the consumer.

Janne Halttu has been developing his own product family since the beginning of the company. Throughout the product development process, his own experience in building houses and installing lighting has been at the top of the list of requirements. The requirement list for CCT spotlights with colour temperature control included the following features:

- Modular body - The luminaire's heat sink is a standard size spiral LED module which is interchangeable. We always use the same LED module in as many products as possible to make it environmentally friendly.
- Sustainability - The components of the luminaires must be able to be bought later.

WHAT IS THE REAL INNOVATION HERE?
There have been CCT lights on the market for a few years now, but all of them have used only pre-fixed switches, with a CRI of around 80. These products have also often been made of plastic, or thin sheet metal, with poor colour rendering. TWO INSTALLATION METHODS
Basic:
Standard, where the luminaire comes with a transformer with a 3-position switch. The switch allows you to select a light temperature of 2900K/4000/5500K at the installation stage. The luminaire is TRIAC dimmable. The Led luminaires can be installed in chains.
Customizable:
Freely selectable from 2900-5500K. Selection is done by the desired lighting control system such as ZIgbee, DALI2, Z-Wave, etc. All lights are 24VDC parallel connected. Easy to add/remove Led lights. That is, the luminaire is purchased "Without its own transformer" and the luminaires are connected in parallel to one group transformer. This way all the luminaires behind the transformer are controlled by one single group and the CCT colour temperature of the luminaires can be freely adjusted and dimmed.
ACCESSORIES FOR THE PRODUCT FAMILY
The CCT product family also includes a complete IP54, pull-protected cabling kit with a 3 metre intermediate cable, and a choice of 3-piece or 6-piece splitter.
You can also use your own 3 pole cable for installation.
WHAT IS A COLOUR TEMPERATURE ADJUSTABLE LUMINAIRE?
A CCT-led light is a luminaire that allows you to change the colour temperature of white light. The range depends on the led luminaire, but can be as low as 2500K - 6500K.
The changes in colour temperature, which are clearly visible to the eye, range from yellowish light to bluish light. A temperature-controlled LED light changes the hue of the light so that the luminaire itself always has two LED circuits in parallel; cold and warm.
When the mixing ratio of the two is changed with a control, the colour temperature of the light changes. In addition to the possibility of changing the colour temperature of the light, the luminaires are dimmable.
Different materials and colours react differently to different light spectrums. It is very important to find the right colour temperature to suit your needs.
