LED ribbon 24V SUPREME

In SUPREME LED strip we use SMD 2835 LED circuit with a colour rendering index of more than 95. This LED strip is dimmable and moisture-proof to IP65 (anti-fading surface). Our LED strip is easy to fix with the 3M high adhesive tape. SUPREME led strip 13,6 W/m illuminates 1600 lm/m, so it is very energy efficient! The strip comes in a 3m roll with 1 meter of fixture cable with DC connectors at each end.

For lighting demanding objects

Our SUPREME LED strip has an input power of 13.6W/m and a luminous flux at its peak, 1600 lumens/m or 123 lumens/w. The ribbon has a double-strength copper base, which prevents the ribbon from breaking and improves thermal conductivity. The ribbon has 192 LED circuits per metre. This makes the light uniform across all our aluminium profiles. When mounted on a low profile aluminium profile, the spotlight is only visible when the strip is dimmed and the luminaire is viewed directly from the front. The ribbon has a CRI of over 95, which is excellent and suitable for use in any space where colour rendering is important. SUPREME is backed by a staggering 7-year warranty.

Installation

In addition to the ribbon, the installation of the Led strip requires a transformer, an aluminium profile and operating switches.

The SUPREME 24V LED strip comes in a 3m roll and can be cut to size up to 41.6 mm. The tape is clearly marked for easy cutting. We recommend soldering the strips together, as we have found that the quick-release fasteners loosen over time and loosening causes the lights to flash. We are happy to help with any installation issues.

We recommend powering from both ends if there is more than 10m of continuous tape. This prevents light loss and gives an equally bright light from both ends. The Led strip should always be attached to an aluminium (or other metal) strip to allow excess heat to be conducted away from the LED circuit. This will prolong the life of the led strip, and keep the warranty valid. Aluminium profiles can be ordered from our online shop, where they are available in a variety of different types.

LED strip 24V works well with solar power, boats and cars that use 24VDC, then a separate power supply is not needed. In other cases, order a suitable 24V power supply for the ribbon (e.g. 2m*13,6W ribbon=27,2W, but always add 10% so 2m would require a minimum 30W transformer).

The installation of unplugged transformers is electrical work and requires adequate qualifications. We are happy to help with any installation questions.

Dimming

To dim the LED strip you can use either a traditional rotary wired dimmer or our VaLO RF series wireless dimmer. When using a conventional rotary dimmer, the transformer of the LED strip must be TRIAC dimmable. The strips can also be controlled by DALI systems. Wireless dimming is perfect for applications where there is no wall switch for the luminaire, but the luminaire is powered by a constant current.

In the case of a smart home, a Zigbee transformer and controllers for wireless control are chosen. In Zigbee transformers, the receiver is already built-in.

With the VaLO RF wireless solution, you simply install the receiver between the LED strip and the power supply. You can then control the strip with wireless switches from wherever you want. The wireless switch is powered by batteries, which are easily replaceable. You can also mount the switch on the wall if you wish, but it does not need a separate power supply.

Light colour temperature

The strip is available in a halogen equivalent of 3000K warm white and 4000K neutral white. We reserve a 100 kelvin range for batches.

Create your own lamp

Why use LED strip only for traditional applications when you can make a luminaire out of almost anything? Create your own wall light by bending the LED strip and the aluminium profile to the shape you want, or by fixing the LED strip to another material that conducts heat well.
